As it seems as more likely as each day passes that we will go back in for Modibo Maiga in January and more than likely succeed as the player wants it aswell its just a matter of agreeing a fee......

Now my question is which one is better because i dont have a great knowledge on french football i suppose there is a possibility of them both playing and Ben Arfa playing on the wings but i doubt it.....

tough question though, both are good athletes, good technical abilities, BA is the better striker i think, while Maiga might be more effective playing off the CF or wide.

They can definitely play together.

Yh i thought the same except Ben Arfa is nailed on to be the AM this year in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1 so that only leaves the wings or we could see a rotation role between the two with Obertan or some other winger taking his place on the right.....


It's also possible that we will try and get a fullback and back up cb in January aswell ( Atleast if Pardew gets his way, which he hasnt so far )

So you could expect more French buys
