1. Morale boost to players and some of them just look sick. BC Place for example, the new MLS stadium, a silver, looks great in Fifa.

Does the team you play(Barca/QPR) or difficulty level have an effect on how much coins you make from each match?

Yeah that's what I did, and eventually whatever league I had the most good players from is what I used.

Yeah I believe so. There's tournaments also with coin prizes at the end as well, but they usually have certain requirements for the team.

I have a couple goals I'm going to upload so you guys can see just how Soto bosses the midfield and James scores for fun.

I'm starting all over. What team would you recommend I build? Premiere league, La Liga or something else? Which is easier to build and more effective?

BPL tends to be a bit more expensive I think, but it's up to you. You can make fun teams from anyone of those leagues, it depends on what you want. Style of play and what not. I usually just go for players I like and build a team around them. Chemistry is pretty important especially online I think.

Yep, if you were on PS3 i could toss you like 2.5k to get started. Plus on PC the auction is not as active so it's harder to make money trading, you gotta put in more time/effort.

I would say, use the bronzes you get from the start and play with them until they run out of contracts. do one of them tourneys with them if you can. Some have a 1000+ coin bonus at the end. 4 games should get you around 2k. Start to upgrade with that, but look for players who already have a good amount of contracts on the market. That way you won't run out, or have to buy more contract cards. Keep playing until you can upgrade your whole team to gold or silver.

What's the benefit of having a "shiny" player. I got a "shiny" 81 rated Balotelli. Any benefits? Does he improve or what?

Nope, he's just a bit more rare than a regular gold. There are "in form" players though, which are the black card versions of players. It's basically the player with better ratings. EA has a Team of the Week every week, where if a player has a great game, he might get an upgraded card.

Do players in UT go up in rating similar to career mode?

^ Nope, players don't grow. But EA releases better versions of players based on real life performances. IE. There's a 98 overall Lionel Messi, 96 overall CR7, 95 overall Rooney, 90 overall Ibra, etc. Which is pretty cool.

And is there a way to look at the normal stats e.g. acceleration, sprint speed, balance, stand tackle etc etc instead of just the 6 shown on a card when searching?

When you search in the auction house, set to search for Gold players with a minimum price of 1mil coins(or 500k even). Should show all the elite players.

The actual cards themselves only show 6 stats, you have to be in game to see the rest. You can usually find the full player stats online on the EA UT12 forums. I have 96 Ronaldo, some of his stats off the top of my head: 99 for dribbling, finishing, shot power, long shots, jumping, ball control, agility. 93 accel, 98 sprint, 85 strength. He's pretty epic.

Gold will have the highest stats. If there's a silver player that's also gold, he either got updated or he got an in-form. Ricky Lambert for example started as a 71(? i forget), he got in Team of the Season so he has an 80 overall gold.

Gold players ratings: 75-99
Silver: 66-74
Bronze: 40-65

Sigh.
Dealing with the PACE is tough.



Oh and hulk is an overpowered god in ultimate team. He out muscles everyone and hulk smashes ever goal.

Are there any easy ways to make a lot of coins? I've tried 59th min, buying shiny silvers and selling them higher, buying cheap golds and selling them higher etc etc and don't seem to be making much profit.

It does get a bit tedious not being able to get all the expensive players. Played a lot of games too.

It's really hard at this point cause the market is so crap. But my strategy at the beginning of the season was: buy IF's with pace or a great shot at their lowest point, wait a few weeks until they're in demand and resell for higher.

If you're looking for deals the best day is on Wednesday. New players come out that day so people are more apt to put up players for cheap so they can get more packs.
