Goal.com *bleep* bias against Arsenal FC....!
Here are a few excerpts from a Goal.com article that I came across today......
From WWLTW article
"The England defender flew in at the ball with about as much accuracy as a Theo Walcott cross, viciously hacking into the Mexican's standing leg as a result – a wild and clearly inexcusable foul that ultimately forced the impish striker off injured....." from WWLTW article
It's hardly as if he is suffering like Arsene Wenger was earlier in the season when he had to field Armand Traore at left-back and a bunch of useless kids to face Manchester United (actually, you can scrap that, as that's probably exactly what the French boss wanted to do)....."
"Let's face it, unless the competition throws up an early local derby, nobody could really give two hoots about it until it gets to the final when there's a trophy for Arsenal to fail to win....."
"Then again, this week's round wasn't all that bad seeing as it did throw up an upset when plucky underdogs Arsenal came back from a goal down to knock Shrewsbury out....."
OK,we had a bad start to the season, but can't these nitwits see that Arsenal are in a rebuilding phase...... Why such a heavy bias ONLY against Arsenal? They seem to glorify ManU and Chelsea as if there is no tomorrow....Even when Chelsea had a mid-season slump, last year, these idiots still glorified Chelsea and despite Arsenal winning against Chelsea....they still skeptical about Arsenal's deserved victory
Fellow members might ask why I am getting infuriated about this...but when you wait all week with bated breath just to see Arsenal play and you find such idiotic articles it seems to sap down the energy and enthusiasm with which you wait to see Arsenal play!
Now I understand why forum members refrain from reading Goal.com articles......

Goal.com have a tendency to jump on the team with the weakest form and use them as a scapegoat. When we beat Barcelona they were wanking all over us.
The Premier League articles are so horrible I don't even read them anymore. Just the ocassional Bundesliga one or maybe some more neutral sided ones with actual thought put into it.

Previously couldnt find an article with Arsenal tag without our 6 year trophy draught.. Now they stopped it only to replace it with the 8-2 defeat... S**t.com

Goal.com are the perfect example of yellow journalism. They rarely report true news, sensationalize rumours (Sniejder to ManUtd 'exclusive') and taking hits at teams who are in difficult positions.
They've become an entity devoid of class and respect. Without character. Their articles are mostly insulting and infuriating, but I suppose that's the only way they're able to keep what limited readers they've got.
The best part? They'd be the first ones to kiss our asses when we finally win a trophy. Until then, treat Goal.com like you would the socially isolated kid who bitches about other people to anyone and everyone they can tell in a desperate attempt to be noticed.

As an AFC supporter there is a certain amount of this that you will have to put up with. AFC does there business in an unconventional way which I think can come off as not having the ambition to win. When our competitors need to add to their squad they go out and for the most part get world recognized names. We promote kids our grab lessor named people out of lessor leagues. When our competitors need to add depth, again the get recognized names. We take there leftovers. When our main competitors have someone coma and make an offer for their star players, they make them pay over the top prices or just tell them no. We don't.
So until we win something we will always get this and will have to just ignore it.

Arsenal are a club of CLASS. We recognize talent in unknown kids and turn them into performers (Shezzny) instead of paying 18.5 mill for a supposedly better keeper (De gea) who's got the intimidation and physicality of a dead jellyfish. So yeah, we'll just have to ignore this crap
