The first player that comes to my mind is Julio Cesar..What the hell has happened to him ?

I mean this guy not so long ago Won Best keeper in Europe award..Thats pipping the likes of Casillas and Neuer to it..

In the past few months i have seen him commit many howlers..His handling has been really shaky and his positioning at times has been atrocious to say the least..All in all he has been a shadow of his former self..

Yea i agree with you but the past season he has been crippled with injuries ..Though this season he has found playing time under Gasperini ,it remains to be seen if he would be chosen above Pazzini under the newly appointed coach Ranieri..

And he is already 32 and we we expect a striker to fade at that age..But cesar is 32 yrs old and for some keepers that is supposed to be prime age(30+) but clearly he is having bad games on a consistent basis..

Lampard is harsh, he is improving and the only reason people say he is bad is because he is adapting to moving the ball faster which is AVB's style.

If he is on a decline how come he is leading the EPL in creating goal scoring chances?

Thats a bit presumptuous dont you think ?I agree that he's a bit one-dimensional and all speed..But he's played non-stop for two years and recently he was injured so he is not exactly match-fit..I am hoping to see the real krasic soon but i dont think he's declined 'drastically'..

We'll see if he fails to deliver this season..

Still think he is Brazil's best keeper at the moment even though he's been terrible in the last few months..When you think of others ,Heurelho Gomes ?Give me a break..

Diego Alves ?He is already playing second fiddle to Guaita at Valencia..

That leaves us too Doni who is a joke of a keeper and Julio Sergio for Roma who is injured currently..Helton is old..

That is all i know about Brazilian keepers in Europe.Its too presumptuous to tell that there is a goalkeeper crisis for Brazil..Any rising Brazilian gk plying his trade in Brazilian League ?
