Re: It's that time of the year...
Its notonly ronaldo, our both wingers sucks in build up play because mou has instructed them to play that way.Why hating on ronaldo when you know the answer already?
ie "ever think of mou instructed them to play that way?"
ie "ever think of mou instructed them to play that way?"
Re: It's that time of the year...
Yeah... mou instructed di maria and cr7 to forget about their teammates and just barrel into a wall of 2-3 defenders with the dribble or shoot when they have wide open teammates right next to them. That's a reasonable assumption. Sheesh.
Only way we solve our issues is if Ozil can come closer to the box and dominate the ball so he can pick the right target. CR7 and Di Maria are incapable of it.

Firstly mou gave our team over freedom, thats why we are playing individual footy instead of tactical footy.Put higuain as CF then our forward no longer comes deep.He stays on the line.So its easily mou adapting/giving freedom to the player to play in his most suited style.
Btw only +ve from benz's false 9 is we can maintain possession, but there are plenty of short coming to it.One of the main reason we had 2 shot on target last game.
well i think it's not the way it should be, because you will see them struggling when the team in front of them give them less space and is organized defensively.
one of the reasons of benzema dropping deep was because no service was coming and the transition wasnt happening from left to right or the inverse.
Traditionally, when you play a one CF system, you play around you CF to feed him whatever way you can, which we dont do, lack of organization. Look at other teams like Napoli or Bayern who selflessly turn around the CF, and make Cavani and Gomez into monster scorers, or even Falcao with Atletico now.
We are self serving ronaldo, playing around the LW, so the CF has to do whatever he can to participate and be involved.
I do agree that a forward pushing the line could make a difference, but again, lack of direction, if mou stuck with him and isnt doing the work to push him into a more traditional role, then who is to blame?
Do not mind me, let's not turn this into another benzema thread, it's off topic

Adit, I hope you know that when it comes to Ronaldo he is the guy with the most freedom. Ronaldo plays however he wants on the pitch, Mou hasn't instructed him a thing.

Not true, every player has their instructions. Mourinho would bench anyone he likes. Except Ronaldo is Portuguese.

His limitations are very, very, very low. You can see him in the left wing then roaming in the box, he is basicly everywhere, he only stays left on the build up but then roams in the box.
Almost no limit, he even refused to move to CF last time. He plays however he feels like playing.
