OM
1. 1990-91: Ligue 1 champion, CL runner up
2. 1992-93: Ligue 1 runner up, CL champion
3. 1988-89: Ligue 1 champion, Europa runner up
4: 1990-91: Ligue 1 champion
5. 1991-92: Ligue 1 champion
6. 1971-72: Ligue 1 champion
7. 1970-71: Ligue 1 champion
I mean those were the really good 2 periods.
We had a superstar teams from 1988-1993. We had players such as Jean-Pierre Papin, Chris Waddle, Klaus Allofs, Enzo Francescoli, Abedi Pele, Didier Deschamps, Basile Boli, Marcel Desailly, Rudi Völler, Tony Cascarino and Eric Cantona. Our managers were Franz Beckenbauer, Gérard Gili and Raymond Goethals.
The early 70s was really about Skolbar.

Why don't you put CL champion as no.1?

Re: Ranking for best squad of all time based on the year for your favorite football club
We had a better team in 1990-91... Papin won the BdO too. He left and we won right after. But that doesn't mean we weren't better.
My personal favorite team was 1989-90 actually lol. Besides Papin, Karlheinz Förster, DiMeco, etc... we signed Enzo Francescoli, Carlos Mozer, Jean Tigana, Alain Roche, Manuel Amoros, and Chris Waddle in the summer of 89. What a team that was. So fun to watch. Made CL semis that year.

Don't get me wrong, Boli, Deschamps coming into his own, Desailly, stojkovic, boksic, rudi voller, abedi pele (what a player), barthez, etc. made an incredible team when we won the CL. So well balanced.
But i have a place in my heart for Enzo Francescoli. Just do. Such an elegant player. Papin was also a big favorite of mine. Those two together with Chris Waddle was just dreamy.

Nothing wrong with your rank.
I respect it.
"Best" is subjective.
