nobody will ever bench carvalho since he is a portuguese player and we all know how much mou loves them

but if carvalho gets injured for say 3 months and varane shines consistently throughout that time, there would be too much pressure for him to drop varane just like that

Ricky is gonna get bench sooner or later. I think he should be mature enough to deal with such realities without being a complete douche about it. Santillana was replaced by Butragueno without much fuss and Raul replaced Butragueno in the same fashion (I assume it was no fuss, older gents would confirm such things).

You mean to tell me Carvalho would throw a hissy fit because of the natural order of football?!

When Carv got hurt at the end, before watching the replay, i wished his knees were done for, sadly, i dont think i ever wished bad things to happened to a madrid player....

Its hard to pick positives, but Rafa was good.

One thing, the commentator had me wondering. Is it pronounced 'Var-ran' or 'Var-ran-i'? I always thought it was the former, in proper French style.

Varane needs to start every game. Up to Mourinho. It's all his responsibility but we cant tolerate losing points anymore.

i am not talking about winning La Liga, but also securing a CL spot next year. It wont be easy if we play like the last 4 games.
