Siena President Massimo Mezzaroma is confident “Antonio Conte will bring the Scudetto back to Juventus.”
The Coach was at Siena last season and took them to promotion from Serie B before accepting a job offer in Turin.

“I think Conte has already won over the Juve fans. The Bianconeri will fight to the end for the Scudetto and I believe Conte will bring it back to the club,” President Mezzaroma told Radio Radio.

“I hired Conte after his failed spell with Atalanta, but when I met him for the first time, I was impressed by his hunger for victory.

“It was only natural that he would go to Juventus and I did not feel it was right to stop him.”

Conte returned to the Stadio Franchi in Siena for Sunday’s Serie A game, emerging with a 1-0 win.

“Yesterday I saw a clinical Juve side ready to fight all the way for the Scudetto along with Napoli. I saw in the eyes of the Juventus players the same spirit that Siena had last year.”
