He does this every match TBF.
I hope hes not out for long though, as much as I hate him he was in pseudo-good form.

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
I hope he's OK. I like what he does for us despit some of the negative views towards him lately
Kid runs his heart out and comes up with goals and assists. His game is far from perfect but as a fan I can't bring myself to hate a player that sweats in his jersey as much as he does.

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
I think Kaka takes the AM and Ozil goes to the right unfortunately. Mou seems adamant about keeping the CF rotation intact... i can understand it too, as much as i don't really like it.

my fear is the same, thats why i said about kaka too.
damn mou, sometimes he really really piss me off.

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
The striker rotation is working though, both guys have gotten into a nice groove.
Also even though Kaka would start I don't see him playing 90 minutes so the Higuain + Benzema thing could still happen.

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
I think it will be Callejon/Kaka/Ozil who'll enjoy the most minutes from Di Maria's injury, Mourinho wouldn't want to risk all his strikers in one game, that's why he was always clamouring for a third striker.
Callejon/Ozil - Ozil/Kaka - Ronaldo
Benzema/Higuain
These are the matches he'll miss
Valencia v Real Madrid
Real Madrid v Dinamo Zagreb
Real Madrid v Atlético Madrid
Sporting Gijon v Real Madrid
Ajax Amsterdam v Real Madrid
He may not be match fit in time for the el clasico.

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
Benching Di Maria was very good for him, he become more altruistic, solid and he's the top assistant in La Liga.
Now, we gonna miss him from up to 4 weeks which seems a lot of time when we know that he will skip Valencia, Patético, Sporting and the 2 CL matchs (Hope he will be ready for el Clasico one week before).
It's Mou's role to hide Di MAria absence on the pitch and players also have to give everything to start Barça game with 3pts ahead.
Animo Di Maria !!

Not with hamstrings. They only heal with rest... no miracles to it. And you can't tell there's a problem until it's too late. Coming back too quickly is asking for disaster.

higuains injury couldve been career ending, but it didnt stop him from returning way before schedule
not to mention his hamstring wasnt that severe anyways, he should be happy it wasnt completely teared out (but still with enough rest i think he will be back earlier than expected)

Apples and oranges. Higuain's back healed exactly according to schedule and was completely sound before he started training again (we're talking medically healed). The strength and flexibility timeline was the question mark (or if he would ever get it all back).
For a hamstring injury, it's the same thing: you have a set timeline for it to heal medically. When they say"he'll be out 4 weeks", it really means that, if all goes well, he should be able to resume training in 4 weeks. Unless they misdiagnosed the severity, it is what it is.

thats exactly what i think its is, since hamstrings are usually tiny and hard to spot thus making it harder for estimating time on the sidelines,
i wouldnt blame them though they are solely giving their estimation based on the limited equipment they have available for them(we have to remember that when things are severe footballers are sent to real hospitals for tests hence a more accurate view)...
theyve probably given the maximum time out and if his body/thigh responds well next time he does the test, he will be back in training

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
Every injury is different, and every hamstring injury is different. People on this forum claimed Altintop would be out for the season and he made his debut appearance before Sahin.
Unless you're a doctor holding his chart in front of you, you're probably not going to be very accurate.
There are many different factors ie. treatment plan, patient history, etc.

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
i agree hrealmadrid... but the variable is not the injury being medically healed. That's usually pretty accurate unless misdiagnosed. The variable is from being medically healed to being able to do what you want to do. That's where everyone is very different.

I completely agree. For the most part I think your estimate is accurate. 1 month/4 weeks is a good time frame for us to go by

Re: Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria
Hamstring usually needs 6 weeks to be healed. Di Maria will be absent for 4 weeks wich means that he's injury is in the first degree.
Could be a trick from Mou but the player could not walk on his feet.
I'm sure that Marcelo and KAKA totally covered from their injuries but Mou did not want them to travel so he kept them out of the pitch so far.
