Meh I don't care if he takes a million shots if we're winning and playing properly. Its when he does it when we're losing or need a goal badly which is a problem.

It would be interesting if you compared him to last season though.

CR7 took 365 shots last year... Benz, Ozil, Di Maria, Higuain and Ade took a combined 408. CR7 scored 53 goals (14.5%) while the others scored 66 (16.2%).

Sometimes i feel people only sees Ronaldo's bad side. the guy scored 53 goals for us last season. how many players in the world can do what he does for us ?

If you add goals and assists, CR7 totaled 68 with Madrid last year... Messi with 72 for Barca.

Its clear efficiency isn't ronaldo's motto. I wish we could compare him to last season to this point in time but I really couldn't find exact game by game stats to really see if he's shooting less.

If I'm going to talk from a pure statistical standpoint Ronaldo really does come out poor in so many things.

Do you think he's eating away chances from our other attackers though? If I look at last season I would think so yes but he has improved in this aspect a lot in this season. It may not be statistically proven but he does seem to shoot less and give a pass. Case in point was from yesterday when he would usually shoot instead he passed to Benzema.

I actually think CR7 makes our other players efficient by shooting... defense has to pay attention to him and it creates space for others. What i don't like is that his passing is not where it should be right now and we look for him a bit too much. Our CF gets so many open looks because of CR7's runs and we ignore him.

Well it makes sense that he would play to his strengths. His strengths include kicking the ball very very hard.

He's more of a machine gun than a sniper rifle, less accurate but likely to score more hits or goals in this scenario.

I'm trying to say the same. sometimes Ronaldo can be disappointing but he always makes up for his faults.
Doesn't matter how much attempt he gets to score or assist.
