really ? ive seen him sky so much basic crosses in the past year, where hes not even fit to qualify to kick set pieces.

We haven't pressed nearly as much as usual in the last few games. It looks like we're trying a more defensive approach this season, or our team has just lost confidence (which is obvious any way you slice it actually).

But we desperately need our key players back from injury. And we need to build up something called "chemistry".

not not really, if he cant cross a ball into a box, hes never gonna put the ball into the top corner like david villa just did today, face it. Im theos biggest fan, but he couldn't score a free kick to save his life.

Scoring a freekick is akin to taking a shot at goal. - theo is pretty decent striker of the ball

A cross is trying to finding a moving target at a given angle. - theo sucks at crossing.

two different things. Though crossing does help you with your bending of the ball.

Szczesny was good as always.. Koscielny had a good game too..

But I pick Song merely because [for a change] he stuck to his role of being a DM and broke up play nicely.. I can count 4 occasions when BVB attacks ran into a wall when he calmly dispossessed them and distributed.. Think that was a key factor in the match ending 1-1 despite the amount of attacks BVB had..

In all fairness to BVB, for all their non stop attacking, I am happy that they got a goal..

Only two games in and already Mertesacker is looking solid!! Positional sense, communication and heading ability are all present.

Szczesny had another great game, as did Song.
