Can Chelsea win the league?
Re: Can Chelsea realistically win the league?
We're by no means out of it, the way I see it, It is a four horse race, those two Manchester clubs, that Liverpool team and us.
I would not be surprised if any of them won it.
If Mata hits form then Torres will too, we could win it with that Combo.
If either Manchester club keeps gonig the way they are they could win it.
And if Kenny really proves to be king, then his team could win it too.

A LOT of IFS in that statement and I don't really consider Pool a title contender. And i'm skeptical about City too.

They were great against the bigger teams last year(pool that is) and if they can focus 100% on the league so why not? Granted united have improved by have not been tested by any means, the team Arsenal fielded against them would get thrashed in Blue Square, let alone in PL so no "contesting" team will really have proven what they can do until 2 meet(Manu Chelsea @ Trafford), which will be a very big game.

Re: Can Chelsea realistically win the league?
I never said Chelsea are out of the title race..They along with City would obviously be contesting for the title and I'm sure both Mancini and AVB are showing the ambition to win it too..but in the end i have a feeling United will wrap it up with a few games remaining and City and Chelsea will battle it out for second place..Just a prediction..
The thread title says "Can Chelsea "realistically" win the league"..My answer..ummm No !

The future is nothing but Ifs, it's up to the person to make the choice.
