ROMA, LUIS ENRIQUE SIGNED !!
Now it's official: Luis Enrique is the new coach of Roma. As reported by Sky Sport 24, fax arrived at the headquarters of the red and yellow sign on the contract by the now former coach of Barcelona B.
Luis Enrique has signed for two years with an option on the third, with an overlap of 1,600,000 € per year.

He did a great job with our B team, hopefully he can step it up now. A good deal for Roma imo. These are exciting times for them.

Re: ROMA, LUIS ENRIQUE SIGNED !!
This Guardiola trend is ridiculous...
Roma needs an Italian manager with Serie A experience, not a Spaniard who's never been in Italy.
Managers tend to be chosen on their old fame from football days in recent times...Not sure if good.

As much as I dislike that douche, that pr1ck, that, I don't know, that man Luis Enrique, I do wish him the best. Italians and Serie A lovers of all kinds may feel Roma would need an Italian coach but let's try to have an open mind about these things.
I know, it's Luis Enrique but still, let's see how he approaches things.

Re: ROMA, LUIS ENRIQUE SIGNED !!
well its a clearly a gamble..and so have other clubs like inter and milan have taken a gamble in hiring inexperienced coaches and to some extent it has paid off..but i cannot say the same abt juve..i still think they've taken a huge risk in appointing conte..another bad yr and we're doomed

Re: ROMA, LUIS ENRIQUE SIGNED !!
Luis Enrique revealed he has agreed to coach Roma, and only a forthcoming signature is needed to finalise the move.
The
41-year-old Spanish tactician, who will arrive following a stint with
Barcelona B, is ready to embrace the Serie A challenge and bring some
Camp Nou knowledge with him.
Despite a link with Atletico Madrid,
Enrique admits he will coach Roma - just hours after club director
Walter Sabatini said they were waiting for his signature.
"There
is a total agreement with the Giallorossi. All that is missing is my
signature. In the next few days I will be in Rome," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"I
am happy with the choice and enthusiastic about taking on the Roma
project. It's a winning project and I am an ambitious coach."
And Roma can expect some Barcelona-style football at the Stadio Olimpico.
"I will play offensive football so many people can come to the stadium to watch it," he added.
"I want to play with the best players that I will find at Roma and some I will try to bring from Barcelona."
Details
of the contract agreed have not been disclosed, but previous reports
from both Italy and Spain spoke of a two-year deal with the option for a
third term.
He is reportedly set to make €1.6 million per annum, but this has not been confirmed.
Enrique will replace Vincenzo Montella, who stepped up from the youth team when Claudio Ranieri left the club last season.

Re: ROMA, LUIS ENRIQUE SIGNED !!
Very interested to see how he approaches Serie A. It'll be nice to see some free flowing, attacking football which most of our players are accustomed to from the Spalletti days. But I fear for our defence; we tend to leak in too many goals and I don't think he'll be able to solve that problem unless we really spend big on quality defenders or unless he changes his ways when needed.

Just when I had started to get to like Roma. It would have better for him to go to Patetico, so we could hate on them even more. Oh well, hopefully he will be less damn annoying as a coach.
