Respect appeal!
Instead of using the result of arsenal-udinese either as a serie a vs epl or team x played better than team y..
Team x sold more players than team y...blablalba...
Lets be thankful for a great football match today and last week rather than a tactical borefest.
Respect to Udinese to hang in over the two legs and produce a good fotoball match home and away. They played with passion and great agression, never gave up. Also an achievment that they qualified for the 4th UCL spot aswell in a very competetive league with several top teams. All this with very limited funds and stadium.
Kudos to Arsenal and Wenger for rising on the ocasion and qualify for UCL against a strong Udinese(who also lost their 3 key players like arsenal) in a middle of a "crisis". Thats winners mentality right there, seems like you guys are finally finding your feets after selling fab, clichy and nasri
Overall a good display by both teams, and either could have qualified on their day!

What a brilliant match. It had everything in it
Szczesny is a monster. Theo with the winner yet again. Gervinho has settled in and was showing his lille form.
Kudos to Udinese as well, Gave us a tough match and Di natale is brilliant

Today's match was awesome, much love to all the players.
You never get tactical borefests with Arsenal playing, man. That's the beauty.

Re: Respect appeal!
Very good match. Handanovic was a beast, great double save in the first half. Even Badu was pretty good. Udinese battled hard which was good to see but after a while, Arsenal's superiority was just too much for them. In all honesty, it would've been nice to see both these teams advance but the preliminary draws are a bitch.

Respect? I have no respect for Pozzo. He purposely weakened his team once qualifying for the Champions League. I see (and hope) Udinese headed for relegation notwithstanding the fact that Pozzo thinks that without european matches he can stay in Serie A.
The owner and the team are a disgrace to Italian football.

I feel bad for Di Natale missing the penalty, I knew he was gonna miss(couldnt even watch). Exciting game until the second goal by Arsenal.

Come on already, Wiggles.
Udinese had every chance to win against the toughest opposition they could face at these qualifiers. They did very well and deserve none of this "Udinese embarass Serie A" criticism.
You go run a club with less-than-50m annual revenue and see how much better you'll do than Udinese's current management.

Re: Respect appeal!
Wiggles just wants to defend serie a. He needs to explain why they lost.
Arsenal had their best players from last year on the field both matches as well, right

I really wish Udinese had drawn some other team. They deserve to be in the CL as well

Re: Respect appeal!
When a mid table and relegation threat club achieves a spot in the Champions League in any other league anywhere it strengthens itself. I have never heard of a small club in any other league purposely weakening itself when it has the unique opportunity of participating in the Champions League.
It is a disgrace.
It is a disgrace.

What is there to explain? Sanchez, Inler and Zapata are the explanation. They got to 4th place with these players, without them they are a mid table Serie A team at best, FFS.

Udinese don't deserve the Champions League. They are a Serie B level club now, and would have been embarrassed even worse had they gone any further. Furthermore, even if they had kept the three star players they sold, they would have probably gotten by Arsenal, but they would have not gotten much further without solid backup players. A normal owner of a normally mid table to low table team in any other league would have kept his stars and would have strengthened the team with strong backups with CL experience. Like Napoli is doing.
