Playing another blinder in Switzerland in a typical away european game, and winning again, and keeping another clean sheet (watch me jinx them now).
And doing it to the same team that beat Palermo last round with their so called multi amazing players like Ilicic or Abel Hernandez, or etc...yet you don'e see Tony Pulis coming out claiming Showcross is worth 40M, or Kenwyne Jones has the potential to be the next Shearer.
Well done Stoke...doing English football proud and will go far in the tournament. I am sure when their qualification is sealed, they'll make 2-3 much needed signings to add depth and even get better.
Look at their team today on the paper..missing key players, yet still dominant

I'm more impressed with the Fulham result. Dnipro are a decent side and seeing Fulham actually score three goals is quite unusual.
This has to the most odd group of teams in the Europa League from England I've seen. Only one is in there because of league placing:
- Fulham got in becasue the Premier League got an extra spot due to fair play. Fulham were top of the fair play league.
- Birmingham won the Carling Cup.
- Stoke were in the F.A. Cup final against a team already in the Champions League.

On the other hand, SPL has got to be the worst league in Europe.
Hearts got destroyed by Spurs, Rangers lost to Maribor and Celtic drew with FC Sian in Scotland.
I genuinely think Celtic and Rangers would struggle to seal promotion from Championship, let a lone other SPL teams

EPL should have a habitable planet dedicated for it. The planet then would be partitioned to each of the respective teams. Its only fair, and we can pull it off. EPL>everything else under the sun

Given their support I think Celtic and Rangers would quickly grow into sides that could compete for a CL spot were then in BPL and receiving the tv and gates revenue.
Being in the SPL is probably holding them back.

Considering Stoke and Fulahm are mid-table teams and Birmingham are playing in the Championship, those results are still impressive.

Looks like you are new here, let me explain it to you. They played defensive and counter attacking football, and to the eyes of the world that counts as anti football. If you playing attacking football you'll score a lot but also concede, they didn't so they must've played defensive anti football
