Would be even better because if we get him, we beat Inter to him.

There's a fellow Egyptian in this forum? awesome, I thought I was all alone..
On topic, I think we should look into this, but he is worth no more than 10m IMO.

I think we would buy him then loan him right back to Genoa, or co-own

You mean I taught you in the Matri Pazzini thread
And why do you call him Pazzo? Could refer more appropriately to a lot more people
Re: El Shaarawy
I think he would be a good signing, personally I would love it if we buy him and then loan him to Villereal or Udinese, they really seem to know how to deal with young talents. I don't want us to buy him and not use him at all...The reason we should buy him now is that he would come cheap, come 2-3 years he would be much more expensive.

Re: El Shaarawy
I believe he also plays as an Attacking midfielder, a position that would likely be free
in few years if Seedorf decides to retire.

Re: El Shaarawy
I don't mean any offense, but this guy is seriously overrated. I mean for 10-15 million euros? No. And people may ask "Have you seen him play?" Um no. Not enough. I don't think he's proven. He may have a lot of potential, but not for 10-15 million euros.

Re: El Shaarawy
Yeah I think he is over rated but that does not mean he is class. I think signing him would be highly daft as we don't even know what to do with Paloschi next season. Adding another attacker would only make it worse.
Re: El Shaarawy
Stephan's agent said that the player wants to return to Genoa and play there for a year
normally i would be like "THAT AINT STOPPING MILAN YOU FOOLS!"
but
he's 18
hasn't played serie a yet
let him play at genoa, just let him enjoy his time playing serie a,
see how he goes
then sign him
this guy could be the future of italy
and i dont want the future of italy sitting on the bench for 2 seasons at milan before he's actually starting

Re: El Shaarawy
IMO, this thread is of no use. Apart from the fact that we are not in the market for a pure attacker, he isn't needed so there is 0% chance of this deal materializing this summer.

Re: El Shaarawy
This thread is a lot more relevant than some of the other players being talked about. At least this players agent confirmed Milan's interest in him:
Milan have shown an interest in Genoa prospect Stephan El Shaarawy, the youngster’s agent has revealed.
El Shaarawy, who will be 19 in October, has seen his name in the papers recently after an impressive season on loan with Serie B side Padova.
Inter were said to have had a €10m offer rejected for him and Milan too have been associated with the attacking midfielder.
“There was contact from Milan for Stephan, but Genoa underlined that they intended to bring him home so that he could play for them next season,” agent Roberto La Florio told MilanNews.it.
“I’ve not had any real contact with Milan. There was a phone call, but not about anything in particular.
“I don’t know what will happen. I know that the Rossoblu and Milan have a good relationship, but I am under the impression that Genoa want to keep him at all costs.”
There is talk that a Milan derby will develop on the market for the Italian Under-19 international, but La Florio insists a number of other outfits are keeping an eye on developments.
“I don’t think Milan are the only club after him, there are other sides who are interested,” the representative added.
“However, up until now, there have been no negotiations or meetings about him. The clubs that have come forward have been able to talk to Genoa, but do nothing else.
“Inter? I don’t really know what steps they have taken. I just read the newspapers, but am not aware of anything concrete.”
Re: El Shaarawy
We don't need him. If we get Ganso, we can forget about this one. 10 - 15million euros is outrageous for a player who has played only a few Serie B games.

Re: El Shaarawy
One season doesn't justify that price tag. Not at all. I would be more in favor if we could work out a co-ownership deal, but that would be it. We do a lot of business with Genoa...
But I'm suspecting people are overrating him quite a bit.

How about this If roma doesn't purchase Borriello, we get back Borriello and then do a swap?
