oh k, in that case, it was ok but i didnt really like it.

i personally liked it because it shows just how much of an impact he made on the game... favorite scene from the commercial was the broken brazil badge with only three stars and after ronaldo modern sleek with two new stars

I didn't stay up to watch the game, only because it was screened in South Africa at such a ridiculous time. After watching the highlights of his time on the pitch, I'm glad I didn't.

That was shameful and it is not how I want to remember him. Ronaldo, being one of my favourite players of all time, I can only say that it pains me deeply to see him suffer like that. He was even struggling to breath.

All round a bad idea, and to those of you who think it was a good idea, you are selfish for wanting even more from him. In his injury plagued career he still managed to captivate our hearts like no other, that was enough for me. I blame commercialism for trying to squeeze every drop from the Phenom, because they knew he would never turn down the opportunity to play for Brasil one last time- he loved the fans that much.

Anyways, that which has been seen cannot be unseen, but I will try to overwrite that picture with memory of Ronaldo's 2002 World Cup campaign.

As a side-note: Apparently, he can take medication for the thyroid problem, but it is a banned substance in sport. Do any you know if he has started the treatment?.. because he really looks to be in bad health, I'm worried about him.

we did see him in the yellow shirt and he indeed was smiling = all fans wanted to see from his last appearance...the goals he missed doesn't matter the least. he is the Phenomenon and will always be so.

Yes it was nice to see him in the yellow one last time and it was good to see that infectious smile of his but the degradation of the player makes me sad and I don't want to remember him like that.

I'm not upset with you for posting the video, just left me sad and disappointed. A Difference of opinion I guess.

I think it's smart and well done, but I would've preferred a 60 second clip of his career than this tbh.

yes i see your point...

but i believe he have done enough in football to erase the last memories of him. As they say, the beautiful memories overshadows the ugly ones. And I am sure that's how people will remember Ronaldo.
