I can't help but laugh at the ones who laughed back at me for saying Lampard is still a vital piece to Chelsea and still is a force to be reckoned with..

Even after today, I'd still be inclined to agree. Sure, he had a very good game, but it was against a Bolton side who are currently struggling.

He tends to struggle most when Chelsea are playing against the top teams and he finds himself matched up against top quality midfielders.

Lampard's ego is the problem, hes is still a good player but his unwillingness to accept a "lesser" role and the way he handled it was disgusting

it wasn't professional, he is a professional and normally acts it but to fall out with your manager cos he dropped you for a couple of games is ridiculous

and he knows what the media is like him and the rest of the old guard killed off AVB with the help of the media

AVB lost so much respect from that squad just from the actions of a few
