Cleverly >> Sneidjer
Tom is what we need. A composed head who excels in tight spaces who can bring the ball out from the midfield.
Sneidjers good, but hes no Cleverly...in terms of what we need
Keep him Inter

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
Whilst Tom Cleverly is a brilliant prospect, he is simply that: a prospect. In an age full of superstars I think that we should buy Sneijder if he is available, and given the rigors of the season, Cleverly will have no shortage of opportunities.
By getting Sneijder we will be able to immediately compete with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid, whilst continue to send off the other powers of the English game: Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and City.
Sneijder is a world cup finalist and joint top scorer, Champions League winner (and Inter's best player when they won the CL) and clearly is an upgrade to our admittedly weak central midfield. Cleverly does not boast the experience to achieve what Wesley can next season.
As for player style, Wesley Sneijder is a player who is immensely confident on the ball, and is able to retain possession and work is magic in little space. Cleverly, predominantly deployed as a winger in the past, has much growing to do and does not have the close command of the ball that Sneijder possesses. For 35 million Euros Sneijder is an immense bargain in the current transfer market, and for that price simply must be bought by SAF.
In short: Sneijder now and Cleverly for the future.

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
bold statement, as a true CM in the future maybe yes, but right no Sneijder is world class and i will gladly take his creativity at the edge of the 18 yard box

Playing Sneijder as a CM is like playing Nani at RB.
So no i dont agree, but i do agree with Cyber.... Cleverly is much better for United he suit's the system more which is more important than any star quality ever could be.
What's the point in signing a player for a massive price and obsene wages and then play him in a position that would not suit him?
No point imo stick with Cleverly.

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
Cleverly was absolutely brilliant today, his little one touches around the box are fantastic for a player so young...constantly plays great little flick on's or a chip over the top, with one touch

All Milanista Bias??? FFS you want to try and start this in someone else's forum hahahaha
Don't see what I said wrong, just think Sneijder wouldn't fit the Man U. system. If you have a problem please take your own advice and go to bed.

Sure I might soon, mean while let's keep our biased comments to our selves. Obviously your hate on Inter leads you to say such comments against Sneijder, it's common sense.

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
Cleverly DOES suit ManUtd's system better...
But I can't agree with Cleverly > Sneijder. He may be better in the future, but right now Sneijder's a very, very good player, and Cleverly's still in the process of establishing himself.

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
I must say that I am in unending agreement with the thread title.
Many cite Cleverley's lack of experience as a reason for him not being better than Sneidjer; however his performance against Manchester City has shown me that he is clearly the superior player of the two.

Cleverley - Really talented, a squad player, i hate comparing players but he's a bit like Scholes. I think he'll explode Wilshere-ish this year.
Anyway Ramsey > Cleverley

I do not believe anyone said individually Cleverly > Sneijder. Cyber is biased, but not that biased. He said Cleverly is better for MU just as I said Lanzafame would be better than Honda for Juventus.

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
Cleverley is a better option for the United formation, and tbh if SAF used an AM he could easily use rooney or young in that role. Although Sneijder posses that extra touch of class that United need to tople Barcelona i think its important to use the players we have to solve the issue.

Re: Cleverly >> Sneidjer
we dont need an AM to tackle barca, we need a discliplined midfielder who uses the ball well and can get around the midfield
cleverley can do that given time
cleverley can do that given time
