When you say "there are 10 Serie A rightbacks" I assume you mean those mentioned in this thread, so here goes. I won't add others from Serie A as the post will become too long and I'll try to be as concise as possible.

1. Maicon - had a poor season however he's still quality. His decline isn't too far off though, but he has another good year in him I feel.
2. Abate and Maggio
4. Isla - We'll have to see if he's actually played as a rightback this year, however I still rate him highly.

Here's where it gets tricky.

Zanetti is easily the classiest player mentioned, however he's now far more suited to playing as a RCM to cover an attacking fullback rather than holding down the position himself, and thus I'm dropping him down the list based on his ability to play as a fullback for a full, long hard season.

5. Cassani - I'm not a great fan however he's still a decent player.
Lichsteiner - I'm not quite sure why some consider him a defensive fullback, his entire game is about bursting forward to cross or be a point of possession for someone such as Zarate or Hernanes to play off, defensively he's susceptible however if you don't have someone for him to worry about in your team he becomes a nuisance.

7. Nagatomo - His natural position is on the other side, he's a lovely player to watch however and he can service the right if necessary.
Zanetti - As I said he should be kept in midfield from now on, he escaped criticism for performances such as against Schalke at fullback only due to the performances of some like Chivu - a player who honestly was not helped much by his captain.
9. Santon - Will shoot up the list when he returns to fitness, however at the moment he's effectively been unfit and out of the first team for eighteen months and his lack of match fitness made him a liability in a lot of games under Benitez. He deserves sympathy but not free praise.

I haven't seen Jonathon so I'm not going to pretend I know where to put him.

he may not be the best RB in serie a according to some people but surely he has been improving so much, and been consistent, he is continuing his good form where he started off, since last season.
