As much as i would love it if we signed Sanchez im afraid it now looks impossible..Esp seeing as Juve and Barca are after him...

Why Perrotta on the left side of midfield ? ..I would think Pizarro would be a better option seeing as Enrique prefers players who can hold on to the ball..

I would have put Pizarro in there, but he is supposedly not in Enrique's first team plans given his lack of fitness last season and the fact that he isn't getting any younger. Perrotta, despite being in the latter years of his career as well, still runs like an 18 year old and could surely push his way into the first eleven. Banega seems like he could be a good replacement for Peq, if not Montolivo is an option on the market.

Still i think he'a a better option than Perrotta.Now don't get me wrong Perrotta is a great worker and handy to have in the team but i think him playing in that position is a waste and it won't give us much creativity for the forwards.

The only place i would like to see Perrotta in that formation if he is to start and that would be in front of the back 4 as a DMF ...
I reckon he would do a good job there..

Montolivio is very average bro ...

Enrique is very demanding when it comes to fitness and work-rate, that's why Perrotta is in the line-up over Pizarro for me. I find Montolivo is pretty decent... nothing great, but good enough. He was probably Italy's best player this week against Estonia and the Trap's Ireland.

I dont think Perrota will find a starting place under Luis Enrique, he loses too many balls and makes some foolish decisions.DeRossi will be our only work-horse as it seems xD

Of course, there is always the possibility of seeing Ricardo Alvarez with us next season. The rumours surrounding his transfer slowed down a bit over the last few days, but he is very similar to Perrotta with more skill on the ball. That means that Perrotta would be relegated to the bench and may be a useful substitute to have as the season wears on.

No offense, but I hope he dosen't come to Juve. Nothing against him, he's a great striker. But we need someone world class, I'm hoping for Rossi.

Vucinic can be world class... but that often follows his prolonged periods of being amateur at best. One thing Roma fans have learned the hard way is that Mirko doesn't like scoring easy goals like tap-ins into an open net while being a meter off the goal-line. He needs to score the volley from midfield or dribble through 3 defenders before placing a shot into the corner of the net. He often pops up at key moments, while sometimes he is nowhere to be found. He has his good runs where he'll be unstoppable for 2 months at a time; if not, he could go into those terrible luckless runs like he did this season. At the end of the day, he's a very good player, his problem is more of a psychological one.

Cassani,Criscito, Montolivo and Pastore are all very average imho....Don't get me started on Menez.. :lol!:

Great idea for Vargas at LW. Any idea how much a move would cost?

It's been 3 years that I want Vargas at Roma, since his Catania days. At this point, he would cost way too much and I doubt that Fiorentina would let him go for anything under 20 million, if not way more.
