So far De Ketelaere looks like Gourcuff

I'd argue he's having a worse start than him, at least Gourcuff managed to bag a goal or 2.

Gourcuff was a problem as well off the field, he didn't want to learn Italian, he didn't want to train on time. So far CDK with his attitude in recent matches (not saluting the Curva, Ozil-like body language on the field) seems to be heading the same way.

The case with de Klutterale is that he seems to have let the attention and clout us Milanisti put on for his signing, get to his head.

He needs to get he has accomplished very little in his career so far and doing whatever he did in the Pluto league matters not, on the grander scale.

Pioli always was a modern and talented coach but his lack of experience with big clubs is showing.

He has evolved through the last two years but resorts into a safe shell when it comes to decisions that only will be regressive in his progress with Milan, and as a coach.

Why in the UCL he isn't taking the risks he needs to, and adapting to that stage.

The next 5 games will tell a lot about him, and I've been proven wrong on him before.

Patience needed with CDK, I will just point to the second seasons of Bennacer, Tonali and Kalulu (and in the case of Leao, third).

But as of right now, he needs to be benched for Diaz.

I don't think patience is the correct term here given its less a question of his (obvious) ability and more criticism of his mentality to which IS showing shades of Gourcuff.

Atalanta - Napoli
Roma - Lazio
Juve - Inter

This weekend has potential to shake the top of the table. For all our woeful football this season, if we hadn't been robbed vs Salernitana we'd be level with Inter and 2 points behind Milan.

Lazio will be missing Immobile and Sergej, I don't think they will win the match, even if Roma misses Dybala. We continue to miss everyone although by the weekend iirc Locatelli and Paredes should be back, maybe Di Maria makes the squad.

I say:

Add McKennie and Iling Junior to the list, at this rate half the squad will be youth players

It's the same pattern since so many years, Pogba will miss the world cup because they make him train too hard too early  J-medical absolutely suck at their job

Pogba is missing the world cup because he decided not to have surgery back when he got injured before the start of the season. He prioritized the world cup and now has lost months of football for it.

We beat Inter, Milan lost to Torino and now drew to Cremonese, Roma lost to Lazio, Atalanta lost to Lecce Proud

We are back. We have the chance to go 2 points from 2nd tomorrow.

The banter if we end up beating Milan and Inter after having such an absurd injury crisis, a coaching crisis, and the most mind-boggling VAR incidents.

Also, Nico Fagioli, next Modric.

And people say Allegri is a bad coach. The man is out there forging a solid back 3 out of Porto's mediocre fullbacks from 2014 Laughing

Nothing mediocre about Danilo, he is consistently excellent for us. Alex Sandro is the disappointment. Poor as a fullback but good as an LCB in back 3.

Also interesting is that Bremer in the end didn't replace Chiellini but Bonucci. Great signing and great player. Him and Danilo are our most reliable defenders and we have the best defense in Serie A. The third player is the that can rotate between Bonucci, Alex Sandro ir Gatti.

And Allgeri is a great coach, making Tite's job easy in the WC Proud
