Benzema is going to be 35 next year. It doesn't matter who you are, Age will catch up to you. we can not rely on a 35 year old Benz as CF. he already is showing signs of fatigue and missing some games.
we need to sign a world class striker and with the opportunity to sign Haaland for 75M it will be very stupid to look away just because we have a 34 year old Benzema who has only 1 or 2 seasons left at top level.

as for positions Vini and Mbappe will rotate positions imo. Vini is too good to play out of his preferred position all the time. considering Mbappe can play RW with no problem.
