Atalanta Juve

Big game for 4th spot. If we win we should cement our position.

Szczesny, De Sciglio, De Ligt, Bonucci, Danilo, Rabiot, Locatelli, McKennie, Dybala, Morata, Vlahovic

1-1 Second time this season we play better than Atalanta but don't beat them. Crazy match with 36 shots, we had 6 shots on target, Malinovskyi scored an incredible shot, Danilo equalize at the last moment.

We stay 4th but Atalanta can surpass us with the game in hand. The races at the top are tight

De Ligt and De Vrij exchange roles bf
Should I Say it's normal since the first one got overhyped as next Beckenbauer while the second one was signed as free agent
Luckily Skriniar and Bastoni are compensating De Vrij and Handanovic..

Nah. You're probably misguided because we looked a lot better than in all the other matches against the top four. Atalanta was the better team yesterday, they had more possession, more shots, more and bigger chances.

And we weren't better than them last time either. They did the minimum necessary, while we did nothing

The positive is that we looked much better

If that is the criteria then we certainly were much better than them in the first game, more possession, twice as many shots, twice as many shots on goal, more aerial duels won, more dribbles, etc. Beat them in every metric in Turin. It's not necessary to say that because watching the game made it clear as day.

We were the better team this time too, that's why it stings that we didn't win the match. And as far as stats go, we still made twice as many shots in goal as Atalanta (6v3).

Atalanta has been lucky in this race.

Seen rumors that De Vrij will leave this summer. Indeed, De Ligt is playing a top season.

His defensive percentiles are ridiculous

https://fbref.com/en/players/5fd5ed86/Gleison-Bremer

Now compare it to Botman

https://fbref.com/en/players/ccce7025/Sven-Botman

Now team playing styles make a big difference so it isn't fair to use it as a straight comparison, but it's still something neat to look at.

As usual, struggling to play against the bottom half teams.

Wasting good chances and making poor decisions in all counter attacks.

I expect a draw or a late loss like Spezia.

It's Spezia all over again, but we don't have a refereeing excuse this time Laughing

Terrible offensive performance and bad defending from Tomori today (both goal are partially his fault), with a massiveMagnian brain fart as well.

Milan is just trolling their fans now, pretending to compete for the scudetto and failing at every simple test. Extremely bad decision making.

Relevant season for Fiorentina and Italiano.

They have bow beat Atalanta 3 times, Napoli, and Milan. Did us a favor today.

After so many missteps it seems like the team found their groove and all their talented players begin to show it on the table.

Nothing to worry about, as soon as some players looks more than good, Juve will pounce and buy them.

The difference being that in the first game, they scored in the 30th minute and then they let us do what we do best with ball, which is nothing, so possession and shots mean nothing when you create only two chances and one is a free kick in the 95th minute.

Atalanta controlled both matches, saying that Juve were the better team in any of them is delusion.

Napoli goes 1st if they win tonight, its not an easy match at all given Cagliari's recent form.

Napoli to win the scudetto if they go out to Barca in EL. If they remain in EL we'll see. They've survived their crisis and came back on a good streak. Let's see how long the current Inter crisis lasts.
