the first half roma was doing very good, second half they started brightly too with veretout shot just saved by gollini.

then everything changes since zapata blast, out comes gosen's flying header, and now muriel with first touch and quite aawesome goal that was to trick mirante

the two goals roma conceded was individual mistakes but anyway taking nothing away from Atalanta they have been playing some quality game. Roma was playing well as well with some very good moves but their final product was missing tonight and now they are down 2 goals...

would be very intesresting match against Real Madrid - Atalanta is a quality side, esp. if given ample space they will enjoy this!
i have learned now never to rule out this atalanta side, either in serie a or CL

i agree ... Illic is one of my fav player too! guy had one of the most difficult days being out for so long not able to be in CL too ! imagine the difference he would have made !

just superbly gifted left footed player ... so underrated
he looks a lot skinny as well dunno if the COVID19 and depression took toll on him, i remember him really bulky and all before

yep his leadership would be needed. this is in some respect unfortunate for atalanta to be in.. just when they needed gomez he looks like gone. previously Illicic in CL.

Lazio has to be one of the teams with the most team spirit in the league. Watching them celebrate reminds me of our old BBBC core. They seem 100% behind Inzaghi, Luis Alberto going to him like that was nice to see too.

What an atrocious display

Right from minute 1, we were so lax and reckless. That Ribery through ball splitting open our defense so comfortably set the tone of the game. Red card or no red card, we would've continued to play poorly as our heads weren't in this game.
