If we create an Americas forum then we'll have to do it for Europe, Africa and Asia/Oceania too just to keep things consistent.

I don't mind doing that and it's actually worth consideration.

Well, why not. The forums already Europe, litterally. Making 3 sections should be sufficient. One for the Americas, one for Africa, and one for Asia and Oceania.

Also instead of Euro 2012 just call it European International Football.

tbh, a section full of America related futbol wouldn't get any views. better of leaving it as is. South American Competitions deserve their thread from the All-American thread which would be Club, player, small competitions, transfer related stuff.
