Please, the only reason he didn't jump ship a long time ago was because over the past 10 years we've been run extremely well (just as his exit was managed), making quality additions year-in-year out and putting together a legendary team which he was part of (never as a main man, as contrary to popular belief - he was on the end of the chances our hugely talented players created)

Now let's look at Barca - 27 freaking transfers since winning the treble in 2015, and none of those have made a long-term positive impact. They were screwed by Neymar in 2017, got paid 222 million euros for it and splashed that huge sum and some more on 2 completely misfits and one 20 y.o. scrub from Dortmund lol. They've went from a midfield composed of Busquets, Keita, Xavi, Thiago, Iniesta and Fabregas in 2011/12 to a washed up Busquets, an overrated little piece of ginger shit from Ajax, old Rakitic, old Vidal and some La Masia scrubs (biggest football myth of all time btw, they've got lucky having one generation of greats including a freakish alien talent in Messi himself).
This board have lived off Messi's back all those years thinking that it's a given he'll stay with Barca for his entire career, until he's finally pulled the plug making them panic like never before.
Luckily for Barca he won't leave.
