It Is because of hot climate  too imo

Yeah he injected life into Napoli's attack. Great Napoli in the second half in general, Insigne running things and Osimhen and Mertens are combining nicely. The only weak link has been Lozano even if he just made a nice play for the second goal now.

I'd like to see Pirlo give Douglas Costa a chance on the wide left. Whenever I'd conjure up my ideal fantasy 11 over the past 5 years, I always had him and Cuadrado hugging the sidelines. I'd like to see that in real life too.

We played with Costa and Cuadrado on opposite wings with Allegri. Its definitely Costa's best role, problem was having Costa fit enough to do it reliably, and now we have Ronaldo playing from the left.

At times Costa will probably play as LWB of the 343 as he did before some times when chasing a result.

Yea but I wasn't envisioning them as wingers in a 4-3-3 like Allegri had them, more as wing backs.

Pirlo wants Juve to attack with a 3-2-5. I'd like to see them on the sidelines of the 5, with Ronaldo and co centrally. I know he wants one of his wing backs to be a fullback to transition to a back 4, but Cuadrado could maybe do that same role.

Yeah Cuadrado can do that. The problem is that Costa is non existant defensively so it exposes the back line. I guess if McKennie turns out to be legit then he can cover the left flank more.

As of now Costa is billed as a forward for us. With the injuries and transfers to be made, he is the only non-youth sub for the forwards. When Dybala, Bernardeschi, and Dzeko are in we can start to see more experiments. For now the lineup is 'set' except the choice of 3 midfielders. Ramsey is a lock as he is seen as a 3rd forward to accompany Ronaldo and Kulu. Rabiot and McKennie are apparently the ones that were uncertain to start over Bentancur and Arthur for the match.

I don't mind trying the 3-5-2

One thing i like from the start, Pirlo plays a physical mid in front of the defense. Instead of a creator like Pjanic who was used as "regista" with poor tackling skills.

Bonucci for the long passes, the 3 midfielders role is to keep possession while wing-backs + forwards pose an offensive threat. Ramsey will support too. That's what i expect today
