meanwhile Roma has justin kluivert, miki playing on wings with pellegrini on AM - dzeko frontline ; midfield partner of cristante - veretout , mancini makes return after question on his fitness

10 mins into game both teams playing cautious ; no crowd u can hear coaches screaming more than commentators XD

milan sucks bad with ball posession because they dont have a good ball playing midfielders... well bennacer is ok but rest arent.

so far bonaventura disappointing ... just nothing going on with him atm...

nice combination upfront with rebic but jack skies it.

Kjaer so much better with ball on his feet and comfortable keeping it ; but if midfield neglects defesnive duties kjaer will be caught out badly on pace ...
so far calhanouglu bennacer both been loosing ball a lot .with careless pass...

meanwhile miki on counterattack almost gets dzeko ... theo being caught out on the left flank

like @Warrior says milan wasteful in posession and creating upfront ; bonaventura castillejo hasn't been a threat so far ; bennacer calhanoglu loosing ball often ; kessie meanwhile has done decent job ;
defensively kjaer has been great !

roma meanwhile are dangerous in counterattack but unable to find targetman dzeko

theo is being asked to play too cautious by pioli clearly for few games now either he is staying at back when forward needs his support or he is running when his team mates are nowhere near to be found.
theo is really a wingback for sure ; wish he could get a freedom that he would like but understandably defensive is a concern at the same time

huyyyyyyyyyyyy theo wonderful cross and calhanouglu should have scored that free header!

calhanouglu again loosing ball ... leading to counterattack and castillejo fouls - yellow card...

- milan poor in posession giving ball away by midfielders and risking counterattacks by Roma
- nothing much being created upfront nor any chemistry between the forwards on buildups
- defensively the kjaer / romagnoli duo looks much comfortable, conti surprisingly doing good job on defense so far keep kluivert honest , but no support going forward


Roma meanwhile,
- looks very comfortable at the back, mancini, smalling able to contain any threat coming without issues
- roma quick to hit on counterattacks when milan loosing ball on the midfield but pretty much all of them are trying to find dzeko as the main main, they could really do damage instead by going on looking for other mates pushing upfront
- roma still looks like the team who will score goals than milan atm ; milan really hasn't created any dangers whatosever upfront and made life so much easier for Roma

Roma played better , anyway Dzeko and Chalanoglu missed two easy chances , basically identic both

XD hahahaha someone said in insta that bona is basically illegit child of allegri - he for sure has allegri's DNA written all over his face XD

and yea now u said it it freaked me out that samu looks exactly like Rapinoe - even the tattoos! XD
really as milan fan, my only hope is that if rangnick signs up he seems these obvious that has been a persistent pain in the a for years! milan has players who have 0 vision, creativity, a real ball playing footballers ....

back then we used to boast real ball playing footballers who were so comfortable on ball - rui costa, pirlo, seedorf, kaka , even gattuso wasn't shy of keeping ball on and not letting opponents any snif at it ;
gone are those days really its been such a pain to see this for a decade now

at this point i wouldnt expect much from our players creating chances but i sure do hope that they kinda take advantage if Roma make mistakes ...
we dont have a quality to create something up front ... this is the reason why we won against lecce is because we pressed on them forced them mistake hit them quick on counterattack - we start keeping ball then we surely are going to loose!

XD simple as that ... poor fiorentina shouting at referee went deaf ears / referee didnt even bother to listen to their plea / appeal for review ...
again VAR in italy shouldn't exist ; just those guys are being paid to watch the game

We should've made that first 20 minutes really count. Needed a goal during that period to feel good about not conceding. Outside of that Calhalnoglu header and Mirante's poor imitation of Alisson, Milan haven't had much of a look in.

agreed - i think Roma midfielders are trying to just look dzeko as the final part to finish off and that is a problem me thinks! and kluivert and miki should probably get something if they press more ;
but yes we really haven't troubled Roma whatsoever

btw guys i didnt know that last year Italian FA approved of top clubs allowed to have B teams - in serie C in which juventus -u23 b team won!
meanwhile none of the top teams registered for B teams except juventus --- wtfudge! that is only going to help juventus allowing their young team to get games and experience! i been waiting for this so long!
