The reaction after the equaliser said it all. The players were bereft of confidence and showed few signs they wanted to get back in front.

Emery is done. He's lost the crowd and now it seems he's lost the players, too. If the club has any sense, he won't be in charge for Norwich on Sunday. At this point, the team is in desperate need of that new manager bounce.

yeah I just can't see the world where Unai could actually get out of this. He has earn the fan patience and players seem to settle with having new manager coming in soon.

Why is it that every team we play against, the opposition looks and plays so much more smarter, picking up better passes and running at the ball like they are the bigger of the two teams?

It's quite suffocating to watch this team play.

That's cause of the reverse. They still play to their standard level just that we somehow has become quite a bit dumber. We run a lots but it amounts to very little.

As things stand now, I don't think you'd get through there, sorry

there would have to be some significant improvement in the way the team is organized

Olympiakos are very well coached at the moment

3-4-1-2 probably. Ozil as the 10, Pepe and Lacazette up front.

Don’t like that he changed formation for one game, you can’t dominate week in week out if you constantly change the formation/team.

If we're being fair, he has to rotate after a busy period and AMN is his only right back option currently since Bellerin is unfit.

Midfield 2 getting completely overrun. Front 4 offering nothing. So much disconnect between the front 4 between each other and rest of team. Don't think I've seem a successful pass between the front 4 to each other. Wingers just dribbling into trouble. Ozil needs to drop deeper to get on the ball and wingers need to be a passing option. Can't beat Leed's press.

Brilliant second half, Arsenal turned up. How many times can we say that?

Also, I like Luke Ayling, very good game. And Leeds looked like they could have used a poacher to finish off their chances hmm

Looks like ACL has damaged Holding a bit. Not the same player at all. Hope he gets back to the same level as before but not many recovers from such an injury

Arsenal's problem in the first half? They didn't "respect" Arteta's instructions. So says Lacazette. In other words, they turned up expecting an easy night against Championship opposition and found out very quickly that Leeds are a very good team.

Imagine having that attitude when you've only won twice in two months.

This is the thing Arteta wants to change. The intensity has to be there for EVERY game. They can't pick and choose which games they want to run in and when they don't. Not until they're a top team again. Leeds should have been out of sight after that first half and it was fortunate they just couldn't put the ball in the net.

The second half was a vast improvement, so that's something. The players are responding to Arteta's methods. Watching Arteta's post-match interview, he knows he can't give these players an inch and has to keep the standards high. Hopefully the penny will drop with time.
