Bellendrabi seems to have a record of that from my eye test.
Definitely wasn't a pen anyway.

Re: The 19/20 Europa League Thread
Ends 1-2 Inter.
Inter should have scored far more but some valiant efforts by Leverkusen and could have gone either way.
Good game as a whole and will be interesting to see who this rather now rusty Inter, face in the semis.

Yeah, especially considering Lars Bender was on fire and having a great game. Bayer were pressing for the equalizer when Bellarabi came on, he killed the remaining 10 minutes with stupid fouls and miscontrols

Struggling to understand the hype around Havertz. Doesn't look anywhere near the €90M valuation Chelsea are willing to pay imo. Bit crazy that such prices are floating around even in the current circumstances.

Bender had a tour de force performance today no doubt. Turns it up for such occasions and never looks out of his depth.
Havertz's head is in Chelsea now Surag. Clearly wants a challenge on a bigger stage.

Clear superiority, we should have won with more goals, just won the stronger, the better team
Hap will agree It but on other hand he predicted me a comfortable win for Inter

moving to Chelsea will be a really dumb move from Havertz and it will limit the ceiling and trajectory of his career immensely

Re: The 19/20 Europa League Thread
Anonymous since then, though. Sevilla are crowding him wherever he is on the pitch so he can't knock the ball out of his feet, and have forced Wolves so deep with their possession + counter-pressing their only way out is the hoof to Jimenez.
Sevilla are so dull though ffs. There's no punch through the middle of the pitch. Ocampos and Suso need to get in those half-spaces more behind Wolves mid three so they can get Navas and Reguilon more space to cross. Right now they're just crossing into a crowded area to one guy.

Every time Sevilla have reached the quarter-final they've won it. So a better question might be: can anyone beat Sevilla?
Sevilla vs United gonna be fun. Lope-ball vs Ole's counter-attack-and-hope-for-a-pen.

I'm sincereley curious to ask you an opinion on this match.
A EPL expert who is also a Sevilla fan, you know so good both teams
Who you expect to pass ? A better team on paper ?
It appears almost a 50%-50% to me, but I don't know well both such as you.

Re: The 19/20 Europa League Thread
50/50 sounds about right.
The key to Sevilla's success right now is their defence. They keep the ball for long spells, counter-press when they lose it, and can rely on a speedy defence with smart centre backs who manage the space well. They can slow down United's transitions by either counter-pressing their defenders and deepest midfielders or by forcing their wingers and full-backs deep with their possession. Lope-ball is basically starving the other team of the ball.
BUT, Sevilla lack offensive firepower. Their attacking patterns are predictable. Play always goes down the wings where they look for overloads with Navas/Suso and Reguilon/Ocampos. They always look for the reverse pass to a blind-side run or a cross to the back post. Their midfield rarely runs into the box. If United protect the wide spaces well they can nullify a lot of Sevilla's threat.
Sevilla's midfield lacks physicality. Banega and Jordan are technical players who can be overwhelmed by athletic players. United would have an advantage there. Also, compared to Roma and Wolves, United have more quality in attack. They've got pace, dribbling, and players who can score from low-percentage shots. They don't need many shots to score. Sevilla leave space down the sides of their centre backs so I think Rashford and Greenwood can profit from that.
A lot of depends on Ole's line-up. If he goes 4-2-3-1 they'll have a great chance of winning. If he goes to a back three though they'll get stretched and passed off the pitch.
