From what I'm reading most fans are not happy and thought he deserved the full season regardless of recent results. Yet another club converted to the cult...

Not surprising it was only matter of time... his tactics are too suicidal as always?

He lost points against teams Leeds were never expected to beat. Scorelines like 4-0 made it seem worse than it is. The next run of games with easier teams were the more crucial games and imo it is a mistake letting him go.

Not to mention he hasn't had key starters all season. When your squad is that thin that makes a big impact.

I did say this last year where even though I enjoyed their totaalvoetbal, PL has to be a mix of Stubbornness and changes if you want to survive, Bielsa stuck to the same philosophy 1 year in when all the teams figured out how Leeds played, and then he played that same tactic with essentially not good enough players and as expected it did not work out.

Re: EFL Championship 19/20 - Bielsa Strikes back
Bielsa fandom I faced in Athletic for 2 years in total.
First year I absolutely loved him and he brought out the best in every player and I mean every.
But then you realise he sticks to the same spiel game in game out, runs his players to the ground, uses players as a means to an end like Pep (who grew out of that way in City, finally) and does not really evolve anything.
His ground foundations are brilliant but a tactician he is not and in all games out of anything that was exposed in the Europa League final between Athletic vs Atletico back in '12.
Their new American manager I doubt will be better since most American managers to stereotype, are mostly based on grit and hard work and just plain suck but no idea about him.
But Bielsa is basically a firework, will be dazzling to experience in the few seconds it lasts but will result in a burnt out phosphorus stench that stinks of anything that blazes too fast. He isnt going to change. Appreciate him for what he is and expect nothing more.
