Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
Piatek is below confidence but highly unlucky too. Three goals of his this season have been ruled out by referees which tell me he is the real deal but lacking that killer instinct we know he has.
But without a creative midfield he is getting too few chances to actually test himself so we cannot blame him here.
Giampaolo is going to say something likely satisfying that one that will give us hope but that is him in his elequoent thoughtful words and counts for little given too little progress and too little proactivity is on display and I'm counting this season out already.

I will say again..
These players like calhanouglu, rodriguez, mussachio, calabria, kessie, biglia, if they are giampaolo's first choice, then milan will continue to loose games..

yea he had couple of goals ruled out but at the same time, i think piatek secretly is kinda fed up because there is no build up nor someone can get him some final third passes ...
i would like to think that theo is one of those who can help piatek massively but knowing giampaolo he is likely to play the bench player in starting line up and starting line up players from bench

that defense of skiriniar godin de vrij alone has enough to convince me to say inter will easily own piatek
piatek didn't get any support whatsoever

and as much as paqueta is a creative player that he is ... he is too slow and keep loosing ball... if PSG wants they can take him... another waste of 40 million... (no offense)

Re: Calcio Saga 19/20
@Jesp:
Piatek if given enough chances will put those goals in as that ruled out handball goal due to Kessie displayed how intelligent Piatek is to be in the right position and slot it in with either foot.
But if the ball is only going to come in through central positions via the now stifling 4-3-1-2 to more congested 4-3-2-1, it will centre around him and he will be shafted out, especially given he simply does not prefer to create for himself.
Theo is a bright attacking outlet even if raw but one of 11 as you are right on players such as the overrated Calabria (like any Milan youth camp product), Kessie, Musacchio, a finished Biglia and a Hakan I touted for years before Milan, even him.
There is no cohesion and no one truly compliments one anothers style yet at the same time everyone is going for glory.
Paqueta? I've never been convinced by him as he is full of talent yet looks like another player trying more to impress the coach and audience rather than being affective, almost being dishonest with himself where he plays best. I barely even think of him.

the biggest problem unquestionably is midfield.... doesn't matter what tactical lineup we play... i think piatek even if he doesn't score any goals is not the problem for sure
like u said there is no cohesion and understanding to build up and yes ... suso, kessie, calhanouglu they are just attention grabbing players ...
i dont even know what to contemplate at this point...
with these runs, giamapolo wont even finish top 6

I remember my Junior high school years in a very negative way also because we 've never won a derby against Milan in that period ( + Euroderby )

1 goal in 3 games, check
Giampaolo ball nauseating? Check
Suso centric? Check
Biglia and RR are terrible outlets? Check
Conti deer in headlights? Check
Hakan brainless check?
Kessie pseudo midfielder auxillary RW, cant first touch for shit? Check
If this team is 3MB file on Megaupload, Inter downloaded it in the first 3 minutes. Heck, any Milan watcher can almost for sure tell you where the ball is heading lol, the players make the same rotations, the same balls and the same runs ad nausem
I say congratulations to Inter on the Scudetto

Jesp echoing ES is inversely echoing me because this literally looks a repeat of literally the last three seasons with the same micro-facets that has made this by far the most uninteresting time to be a Milanista, and accepting the transition of a still formidable team earlier to mid-decade, to what is now a mid-table team with the ambitions catered the same way.
Its a deja vu in a looping algorithm.

Enough of these provincials and legend-coaches
Get me a fucking winner like COnte

Not Wenger though.

Exactly... and how many transitions we have gone through with the goal of being top 3 club in Serie A wit the objective set? lol
lets say even if giampaolo gets sacked and we finally play the way we want... and getting results...
the core of the team and players in it are still a mess and they need to be purged out of the club its crazy to think that we have players from Massimiliano Mirabelli era who are a 200 million fraudulent case... right now the club are living in an illusion thinking they deliver the results better than last year and last year was still one of the worst season in a decade
well i guess we will discuss same fundamental problems for another 3-4 years atleast

cleaning house still needed i guess (mirabelli purchases still exists)
a resigned gattuso at this point will still get a commendable results than giampaolo for sure ...
