Your midfield despite having De Jong who has been outstanding, is very unathletic. Busquets is pretty much done, Vidal is also not fit to play the Barça style (not sure how Pep played him at Bayern), even though he has his uses he is a squad player not the main man. That leaves you with Arthur and Rakitić. Arthur I've never been a fan of, he hasn't really stepped up his game since joining Barcelona and lacks the vision to find passes that a good midfielder should see. I know some of you don't like Rakitić but I still think he should be starting, he combines very well with Messi and Roberto on the right hand side and is capable of getting inside the box. Not ideal given his age, but he is a better option than Vidal and Arthur.

And your front line is pretty slow, ageing and lacking a classy LW to compliment Suárez and Messi. Dembélé is either injured or playing like shit. Should have offloaded him last year when he was worth something, who would want a KFC eating perma-injured player with a terrible attitude? Griezmann on the other hand is played completely out of position, and although I like Fati he is far too young to start for a team like Barça.

Agree a lot with the above posts, we clearly relax too much when we are up and comfortable and our tempo just naturally drops. This happens to many teams and its a normal thing during games but we are so poor at defending we really need to stomp this out, at least try and do what we used to do well - keep the ball, and let the opposition run after it and hence they will tire. But usually we just succum to the pressure and let the other team back in it. As long as we dont fix this we can have no hopes for the CL.

Dortmund is in a slump so nothing too exciting about this result.

Im starting to think end of this season if Dembele remains like this, swap him and add cash for Sancho, anyone else agree?

You don't but you still rely a lot on quick short passes, which Vidal has been quite atrocious at. I remember him being better at Bayern but he just makes too many mistakes and he has poor awareness. The prime example was yesterday when Roberto passed to him twice in succession, he had a lot of space to take the ball forward each time but instead he passed straight back at Roberto, the second time with very bad precision (ball went out of play despite being a bread and butter pass for any Barcelona midfielder in the last 10 years). You could lip read Roberto telling him to "look behind" and visibly pissed off at him. Imagine Roberto being pissed off at you

Did well against you but he's had a pretty poor season from what I've heard.

Sancho has attitude issues or so i've heard. Just exchange Dumbele+cash for Neymar and be done with it.

Anyway as long as we have Messi we should focus on getting better midfielders and defenders. That's more important currently.

Neymar is not young any more, last chance was last year. He's gonna be 28, he's put on weight and he's Brazilian. It's all downhill for him from now IMHO. Oh and injury prone.

You should move for the Canadian kid Alphonso Davies that Hans has been raving about. If anyone knows his wingers on this forum it is our German hapless friend.

I feel like Ziyech can do a job at Barca. He plays good defense and has a good engine for such a technical player. His game is much more that of a winger then a 10 now.

I'd prefer Eriksen to Ziyech tbh, its easier to come across a good winger compared to a solid CAM.

Suarez needs a replacement too so I'm hoping for Lautaro or Tammy Abraham.

This summer will be very important. If we don't strenghten properly and add more athletic players we'll keep suffering.

Arthur getting subbed around 70mins again. The guy just seems to be out of breath all the time, maybe his fitness level is like Ozil or something? I really hope he can improve this otherwise its gonna be to difficult to be a regular certain starter for us?
