He wants to come to Madrid, Juve are back up options if that's not possible.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
wow talk about a bad investment! First, they let him go for free. Then, they bring him back for a a club and world record of 120m to help them go back to being elite again. Spends three seasons there earning an exorbitant salary without improving them one bit, then thinks it's time for a change and jumps ship.
Pogba, you truly are as good as I have always thought you to be.
Also, also, and this is my favorite sentence of the quote:
Firenze, I really feel your pain, mate, but please find another gullible club to rid you of him. May I suggest Barcelona? They paid 160m for Coutinho and 130m for Dembelé. If there's a club that overpay for transfers it's them. oh and maybe PSG as well, but please, oh please, keep him away from Madrid.

They are, you can't accomplish things with players who want to be elsewhere and are not focused on giving 100% for the cause.
The direction is more players like Sean Longstaff and Daniel James, proper English lads who grew up watching SAF

@Nishankly: Well, it's not like he set the bar too high for them. I'm sure they'll figure out how to finish sixth again without him.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
Honestly, aside from a little internet banter where Madrid or Juve fans say they poached our best player (not true, DDG is our best currently) I don't care. If we can get 150M for him. All for selling. Let him leave. Just hope we reinvest the funds wisely.
Pogba isn't mentally cut for the PL where you can't phone games in and still perform week to week. He has the physical attributes but not the mental ones. Which is odd for a player that thinks so highly of himself.
Will definitely suceed in a scenario where he's playing the low quality Spanish or Italian bottom half teams and can give 10% and still look good and not be criticised.

You can't phone in plenty La Liga games either. The usual cannon fodder games are now games you gotta put effort in, for the very least, some effort. Pretty disappointing tbh.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
Next time sports, if you want to get back at something I said, be a doll and quote me and don't slip in your insults in a cowardly way.
As for your boy, he's an overrated fraud, and the fact that you're hiding behind misleading statistics to justify his false claim just shows how biased you are.
As opposed to you, I have watched him countless times this season, and almost every time he sucked the life out of me with his lackluster display and laziness. Use the stats argument with someone else, someone who doesn't watch him play, maybe you'll dupe them into believing he's world class. Those who do watch him will simply laugh at those stats.
150m should be paid for a consistent player, a player who shows up in big games and leaves their heart on the pitch every time. Pay 150m for this numpty and you'll be the laughing stock of world football.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
He's not a fraud though. Anyway, when long time Utd fans have no issues in seeing Pogba leave then you know something is afoot. When Flo is still hesitant on signing Pogba while having no issues with 1 season wonder Jovic, you know something is afoot.
Sports, Paul himself and the French media could say whatever they want, I know what I saw and he isn't someone I (and apparently Flo himself) am too keen in seeing at Madrid. But Zizou wants him so, sure but I really rather Eriksen or Ndombele. Let Utd deal with him and his baggage and his agent.

Flo's only issue was pricetag and Raiola specifically. Nothing to do with Paul as a player or his direct fee/wage. He didn't want to set a precedent of paying the sum of money Raiola ended up getting...
But that's ending. Raiola made his bag of gold already so his demands are normal this time around. Now, it's not hesitation... it's negotiation. Jovic, Mendy and Hazard were for sale. So of course negotiations happened fast. Those clubs had already moved on. Pogba is not. Man U doesn't want to sell. Pogba is forcing his own exit to make Man U sell.
Apples and oranges.

Pogba at Real will be fantastic, if only for the entertainment value of sports having to try his hardest to justify his performances
Unlike Pogba, he will have to give it his all, and unlike Pogba, he will have the mentality to do so despite the odds

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
That's not the only issues when it comes to long time Socios at the club. They don't particularly like divas and if you are one, you better be Cristiano Ronaldo esque in your performances. Again, there are scenarios that are telling me this deal isn't exactly ideal for us but Zizou honestly insists on him. So, sure.
Also, lol @ forcing Utd to sell. I actually would be more of a Pogba fan than Sports could imagine if he makes $3.8 billion dollar valued (according to Forbes as of May 19th 2019) Manchester United sell him to Madrid for a figure that Perez would want.

He has double goals and assists, playing as an advanced CM.. and he's overrated. Right. Without pogba, that team would be mid-table/relegation levels.
Why don't you talk about Matic, who has been AWFUL and does absolutely nothing, or their poverty fullbacks and WHOLE attacking line (shaw can defend to be fair to him).
IF it were up to you, we would have Khedira, Matuidi, Lucas, and Fred starting for Real madrid. You know, because they're hard workers with amazing attitudes. Even though they're average as fuck.

Re: Paul Pogba - The resurgence
I like to think that there's a middle thing between being a hard-working, yet relatively mediocre talent - and being talented, but indifferent or driven by impulses. I wouldn't really describe fred as a hard worker. He did work his ass off in a few matches after the turn of the year, and I'd argue he made a difference when he did (PSG), but apart from that small sample of matches, his work rate has been rather average.

Manchester United are ready to offer Paul Pogba £500,000-a-week to stay at the club. He’s currently on £290,000-a-week and his contract runs out in 2 years. (Source: Daily Mail)
