If memory serves it was a mistake and wasn't supposed to happen.

I had no idea there were this many independent companies. How many wrestling fans does there have to be to actually attend all these shows, and who in their right mind would choose some small independent show over say NXT Takeover?

Kurt really should have faced Cena in his final match...

Are we sure he's not lol? i'm expecting a swerve tbh, Baron Corbin as a Angle's last match is too stupid even for them.

Would be great if it is man. Would love that swerve and it might save wrestlemania
Cena coming out in his day 1 attire and music would make it even better.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
I'm so meh on the build that i don't even care tbh.
The women's triple threat is the only match that has felt like they've put effort in over many months.
The rest either have no effort put into them at all or last minute jobs, i understand why they don't care because their being paid regardless but it's meant their product sucks because of it.

I think Kofi vs Bryan has the best build actually. Womens picked up last week, it has been a huge clusterfuck overall.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Wasn't talking about what's best, I'm talking about the effort put in.
They've clearly tried with the Women's build, even if i agree it's been clusterfuck recently.
I agree with you on Kofi and Bryan, but again it's something they've sprung together at the last minute and they are lucky both guys are good.
I feel the same way about Styles vs Orton, the segments involving them have been great but it's happened over the span of 2-3 weeks.
The Women's title match is the only one which has been building since November, the rest have been together very quickly or just flat out bad.

Good punch by Wilder.
Watched ROH/NJPW G1 supercard. NJPW was ok to great (but not as good as recent Wrestle Kingdoms). ROH was an absolute mess - especially random 6-man tag...

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Even if you didn't watch it i'm sure most of you seen this ridiculous thing that happened last night.
A fan jumped the stage and attacked Bret Hart.
Luckily Travis Browne ( Ronda's husband) got in quickly beat the shit out of him also Dash Wilder of the Revival gave him a uppercut as he was leaving
Not sure what the bloke what was thinking though, it's an arena full of massive dudes and Travis Browne is an MMA fighter.
Not sure what he thought he was going to achieve.

Dash Wilder CRACKED the douchebag who jumped Bret in the ring. Tremendous. #WWEHOFpic.twitter.com/FuVM5Muv1F

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
So what matches are people looking forward to the most tonight?
I'm going in mostly blind, but the two world title matches look promising. Also heard Miz/Shane McMahon have put on a decent story.
Other than that, nothing jumps out to me on the card. Batista/Triple H feels like ego stroking for the pair of them, and I only really care about Charlotte in the women's main event. Orton vs Styles might be cool.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Nothing really, i fully expect some of them will be good.
Law of averages dictate that really, but the build hasn't really done the job of building excitement.

I think Becky will win, but Kofi will probably lose.

Can i just say that despite the fact he's passed it, King showed how much they lack personality in the booth tbh.
It was refreshing to hear him just do subtle things which enhances the story and just general personality which is sorely missing.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
I agree with that tbh.
Only commentators I enjoy listening to these days are Mauro, Graves, and Don Callis. Don't really care for the others.
Booker T and Coach are funny but wouldn't say they're good

Have no complaints so far, we'll see how long this lasts for
Usually these shows start pretty well then fall off a cliff as it approaches half way.
