Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
well after a long season today it ends and my honest thoughts on it are this. liverppol with no injurys and playing on form are every bit as good as city and klopp imo is a better manager than pep but city have a much better squad and the extra money they have spent over the last few years is what made the difference in the end. im proud of everyone at the club but this is the biggest summer for the club in 30years. the owners MUST spend the money. and i dont mean sell salah and mane and give klopp the money i mean keep the players we have and invest money. so on to the UCL final and lets hope the boys are not hung over from the disappointment of today.

Note to self @iameliaswwe: In the home of The Beatles, you probably shouldn’t rewrite the lyrics to their hit song “Yesterday” or wear a certain team’s jersey! #WWELiverpool pic.twitter.com/ETsseTZkQ4

I love that no one even bothered to make a congratulations thread for City. Think the same thing happened with Barca and Juve. At least those other two were runaways though

nobody is stopping you or the city fans from making that thread. but you should be more worried about how this garbage chelsea team finished higher than spurs.CBarca wrote:I love that no one even bothered to make a congratulations thread for City. Chris Hughton seems to have an increasingly consistent record of undeserved sackings henceforth maybe the constantly pained look in his face.
Solid manager either way.

It depends really who the replacement is tbh, with us it was dumb as hell because we replaced him with fucking Pardew.

He's actually around 2500+ ish minutes this season. Pep plays everyone.
Clearly has the technical ability.. there's no question. The question was whether he could improve his game..
He's done two things; improve his right foot, and increase his work rate.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
A UEFA panel investigating financial allegations concerning Manchester City are expected to recommend the club receive a one-year ban from the Champions League, according to Sky sources.
UEFA opened an investigation into alleged financial irregularities at the club earlier this year but City deny any wrongdoing and say the accusations are entirely false.
The Premier League champions have expressed concern about the reports which have emerged - initially in the New York Times - suggesting that investigators will push for a Champions League ban, before any official statement has been made by the European governing body.
