This might be an oversimplification, but it doesn't matter who United have as manager until they start investing smarter. Same with Arsenal and Chelsea now as well. Fred and Sanchez were poor buys and they've been reliant on ageing players for too long without replacements.

I predict that they'll improve next season with some good signings, specifically at right back, centre back and centre midfield. Lingard, Rashford, Martial and Lukaku is a good enough attack to get top four, but what's behind them isn't.

season was still a pleasant surprise considering fans thought it was well and truly over in December. Meanwhile you're running around calling yourselves CL favourites and can't even beat Young Boys or Ajax lmao. See, I think Ole is partly to blame for the underwhelming results you have been having lately. But I think your squad needs an overhaul, and as long you haven't done that, the manager, no matter who he is, will find it difficult to deliver with the squad you have right now.

I'd stick to Ole for at least another half a season and buy him the players he wants. If he's still under-performing by January next year, I would chop off his head. It would be unfair to fire him now after knocking out PSG and beating many big teams in the PL with a squad full of numpties.

The PL would have four teams in the CL and three in the EL as normal. Ligue 1 get an extra CL spot, iirc.
