Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
City-United derbies fail to capture any magic ever since the legendary Mancini-Ferguson battles earlier this decade.
Those were truly special.

lol. if it isn't Arsenal or maybe Spurs I know I'm in for a shit night. Not gonna lie though, I did expect to be 2 or 3 down by now, but City have just seemed indifferent.
I'd take this result now. No way we get a goal without a lucky hoof that City's backline fumble

Its like a small team playing against their big superior rivals. Like a QPR against a Chelsea. All running and trying but no quality.
City will score a couple of goals and win easily in the 2nd half.

Prediction from ahead:
United to show promising signs of defending against Pep's siege but concede from 80+ via Aguero.

yeah I reckon Pep will switch it up second half. THat was actually an embarrassing performance from us, fully agree with Glory. Literally look far below them, chasing the ball and can't string together 3 passes.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Good first half by United given how good City supposedly are in EPL.
First quarter of the match, United even looked the more dangerous. Very good pressing. Just lacked quality in midfield apart from Pogba whom on his good day is a monster of a player. Shame he has a terrible attitude most of the time, cause his talent is there for everyone to see.
Second quarter, United began to tire and couldn't press as much. City started playing with more confidence and looked the more dangerous side.
I still think with a bit of luck United can get a point, or three. They need to be efficient with their chances though, something I don't see Rashford and Lingaard being capable of, despite their gigantic efforts so far.

City look shit mate, if they keep it up, you'll get a favourable result. But I can't imagine they won't improve in the second half.

According to the commentator, apparently when Gundogan went down Sane decided to immediately warm up but the coaching staff told him to go back and told Foden to warm up instead

So there is a problem with Sane and City then, it seemed the case before if this is true, then it makes it even more evident

Already sent Perez a message that Sane is available.

I really really hope we stay away from Pogba. He is everything you dislike about players. You see the rest of the team busting a gut to close down and this guy does it so nonchalantly
This game is too big for Perreira, far too hyper, making the wrong decision over and over. Rashford great back up, terrible starter

The problem is i'd rather City fuck up on the last day rather than before. We will screw up next time if they give us a chance, we just don't have the mentality and always succumb under pressure whether its an individual mistakes like Karius or a team mistake like against Sevilla

As if having Bale who decides to stop warming up when he feels like it isn't enough trouble, we want one who takes the initiative of warming up in order to sub himself in laterDoc wrote:Already sent Perez a message that Sane is available.

Also Darmian is a better CB than most of our CBs. Always felt this. Insane we havent used him at all there. Watch him now go to Italy and shine.

yup to both
IIRC Pereira wants a fat new contract too, I hope we let him go, he's not good enough

legit have no idea why Sane's been ostracised to this extent by Pep btw
his mum's white IIRC so it can't be the ol' Pep's a racist meme tbh

Been saying this for years.
And for years, he is a natural born CB being used as a fullback.
Why? His ambidexterity of course.
Performs everytime as CB.
