He’s a PG with an incredibly smooth shot. He’s projected at 4th.
Didn’t play much in college due to an injury, but he’s definitely the best PG for a team that needs shooting.
Can see him becoming a Curry type player if everything goes right. His shot looks that smooth. Just hard to say when he’s only played five games.

You know, been watching GW and Curry for a while now and I am still impressed by his shooting. The damn shot never looks like it's going in ffs.

what a game
what a win
can't stop us. Lowry will never play like that again
Of course, Brook also had a monster game so it evens out a bit.
But honestly, winning that one...almost felt like we stole it. I think this will give us a lot of confidence.

After Green lost that ball Raptors just shat themselves. Next possesion Kawhi took that stupid 3 and then it was over.
Looked in control until that point. Lopez was the difference maker for Bucks, making clutch 3's one after another, while Gasol was missing those on the other side.
Bucks look like the team more likely to stop the Warriors anyway, and that is what most of us hope to see I suppose.

A lot of positives from that game though. Lowry played fantastic. Match up wise, the series will be interesting.
We need more from Gasol offensively.
Siakam was also uncharacteristically inefficient
We win in 5

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
My feelings are if Toronto role players consistently perform they CAN win but Bucks are more reliable so they deserve the edge.
Also if Lopez continues to hit 3s are this clip Gasol will find it hard to stay on the floor, it's a bad matchup as long as the 3s are falling.
You might have to put Gasol on Giannis and live with whatever happens and put who is guarding Giannis on Lopez if it continues, but that's obviously a drastic measure.

I gotta tell ya - the Bucks are playing with fire, here. They were 22nd in opponents 3FG% and allowed the most 3PA this season. Raptors were 6th in 3PT% and got off 42 last night. Seeing the looks Toronto generated, I'd be concerned for MIL

Law of averages dictate eventually these open shots will start going down tbh.
Yes Lowry won't average 30 but they are missing A LOT of open shots that they don't usually miss during their careers as a team.
I pointed this out during the regular season but the Bucks are bad at defending the 3 but until now in these playoffs nobody has punished them.
We'll see if the Raptors do, but i would argue there wasn't anything conclusive from last night to dictate where the series will go.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
We've been "bad at defending the three" the entire year and won 60 games with it (and probably a couple more if we don't rest players the last couple games). In the postseason we're 9-1.
It's not like the Bucks just suck at defending the three. It's on purpose. This team is more than capable of running players off of the three point line if they wanted. Instead, the Bucks focus on protecting the paint at all costs and limiting corner threes. Bucks are OK with above the break threes.
With respect to the rest of the series, that tweet doesn't bother me at all. Raptors were 36% from three yesterday, which is probably about where they'll fall for most games. Bucks shot 25% on 44 3pt shots. While there is some credit to the Raptors for that, that's an outlier shooting game for the Bucks no matter which way you look at it. Bucks will bring that up at least 5-10% for most games in the series and potentially higher than that for single game samples.
Toronto missed some open threes, yeah. Bucks missed even more.
Law of averages has been dictating Bucks should be punished for the threes they allow all season, but this whole season the Bucks have been a top 3 defense. Either the Bucks are doing something right, or there have been 92 games of poor shooting by opposing NBA teams against the Bucks
EDIT: I should be clear though that I did think the Bucks 3pt defense last night wasn't great and should be better moving forward than it was. Just that I don't think there is anything in that tweet that worries me

The threes, even against Golden State (if Bucks were to make it that far) wouldn't bother me. The problem is that Bucks practically roll out the red carpet for opposing teams to shoot midranges. That's a shot that the Warriors are actually really comfortable taking, and they do it at an efficiency no one else can achieve.
If you look at Bucks losses this season there has been one super clear trend: teams hitting their midrange shots at a high %. There have been some losses due to really good 3pt shooting, but more often than not its been midrange shooting % that has been most predictive of Bucks losses. Game 1 against Boston is actually a great example.

I mean you're a really good team with a transcedent player, so of course you can still win games even if you're bottom third in something.
But it's still a weakness with the team which can be exploited, whether that happens or not i guess we'll see.

Also i should be clear when I'm talking about law of averages I'm talking about the post season as a whole.
They've been an awful 3 point shooting team when they aren't that at all, Kawhi has created more open 3 shots than anyone in the league during the playoffs and they made the least lol.
I do believe that has to change at some point.
But that aside i don't know what i can really gleam from last nights game, there wasn't much i expect to hold over multiple games.

UCF's Tacko Fall official measurements at the NBA Combine: 7'5 1/4 without shoes, 7'7 with shoes, 289 pounds, 8'2 1/4 wingspan, 10'2 1/2 standing reach, 6.8% body fat. Tacko just broke every figure in our database for height, wingspan and reach, dating back to the 80s. pic.twitter.com/xNNwRuKZcK

Absolutely trash first half from us. This is the series we aren't bouncing back from this at all. The level between them and us is big.

Also this dude is much bigger than Thon. Never seen anything like him. It’s dumb.
He looks like Manute Bol on roids.
Also Nick Nurse is a terrible coach. Firing Casey was dumb as hell.

Bucks 125-103 Raptors
Feelsgoodman
A lot of series left to play, even in Toronto, but I feel great so far. The Bucks won while shooting 25% from three in game one. Today? They shot virtually the same from three as Toronto, Kawhi had a monster game, and we won by 22 with garbage time minutes.
Bledsoe barely got any points too, and the refs officiated like Middleton killed their first born.
Toronto did manage to get something going with Norman Powell and Ibaka giving more useful minutes than Green and Gasol. Curious to see if they get more of a run out in game two. It's certainly more energy, and the size difference isn't enough to seriously hurt them, I think.
