Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has trained as normal and is available for selection against former club Southampton on Friday, manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.

Van Dijk appeared to injure himself challenging Tottenham's Moussa Sissoko in the 85th minute of Sunday's match, but Klopp says the Dutch defender seemed fine in training this week.

We need a new backup LB next season after Moreno leaves, who should we get?

Tbh I don't think we will bring many if any players apart from backup LB in the summer. I remember Klopp also saying this season something similiar like "if you have a good team, you don't need many new players". I think our spending spree happened last summer where we spent a lot and that because of that I think we might have a similiar summer to Tottenham last year. And when you look at it, we have 2 players for every position, and it seems like Klopp likes them all that's why I think there won't be big changes in the team this summer

we have to give up on cups because we dont have the squad to cope with extra games. we will lose 2-3 players from the squad in the summer and klopp says we wont be signing any players. sounds like a great plan tbh.

He didn't say any players, just not many. But I'm assuming it will be almost no one,it might not be true, just me guessing

And who will we lose apart from Sturridge who is our 3rd strike now?

There are even rumours that we won't bring a backup LB, and instead will promote Lewis from youth team

We literally have a  backup player for every position, it's just that this season Ox's long injury and many other injuries in defence and midfield made us seem like we don't have many options

we have no plans to buy players for the simple reason that we have no plans to sell any. the owners have done great at the club but the fact is they always sell to buy.

Who would Klopp sell from these players listed to make room for new signigs? I can't see anyone who he would like to be sold, and he said he is happy with the team we have. That's why I'm assuming it will be a quiet summer for Liverpool and that last summer was our big summer, and this will be totally opposite

Henderson motm imo, changed the game when he came on, and got an assist and a goal afterwards, him and Milner brought the much needed energy.

Wijnaldum looked really tired, that's why I said don't play him every game

This was probably the game where Wijnladum could have been rested. And it was so obvious they were targetting the space between Salah-Wij-Trent. Their tactics worked perfectly until we changed. I actually hate Klopp's game management but today he made very sensible substitutions.
