Re: 20 clubs with the highest revenue in world football season 2017/2018
Real Madrid: We have to go back to the 14/15 season transfer window to find established names and starter material arriving in Toni Kroos, Keylor Navas and James Rodriguez. There's also Theo Hernandez, who's currently on loan at Real Sociedad, and likely won't return while Marcelo is still at the club.
During the same period of time, these players have gone the other way: Angel Di Maria, Alvaro Morata, Xabi Alonso, Fabio Coentrao, Sami Khedira, Asier Illaramendi, Alvaro Arbeloa, Jese Rodriguez, Pepe, Danilo, Mateo Kovacic, Cristiano Ronaldo. We've bought a few youngsters, but we don't seem to prioritize direct replacements. It doesn't seem like money is the issue
