I mean since 2017 alone, Bartomeu has spent £507.72m on transfers while Florentino has spent £237.83m (most of whom aren't legally allowed to drink in the US).

Apparently, PSG also were battling Barça for his signature but he chose the Catalans. He must be very good to have those two fight tooth and nail for him.

He has above average vision and passing ability, as well as some degree of defensive quality. Not a lot of other, promising, relatively young players who share his profile, to be fair. I find De Ligt to be a more exciting prospect, personally.

for example we could sign Hazard last season for 200ML but we waited to analyse the situation and test our current squad. now that we know Bale and Asensio are not going to be what we thought, we are going to sign Hazard. for about 100ML less of course.

For now? Do you think the market will regress towards the mean anytime soon? I don't know how one's supposed to beat oil sheik- level inflation prices, which is why I've stated previously that I think player prices may have hit a roof, but I don't think player prices will get any cheaper in the near future either.

Regression to the mean is already occurring, numpty transfers are few and far between. the average prices have increased but you look at clubs like Napoli or Lazio trying to swindle clubs for 100-150 mil for players like Allan or Milinkovic, that's not working.

I like some of the young players coming through especially in Midfield Valverde and llorente can get to a high level imo.

Flo knows what he is doing this season is sorting out the dead weight and what's useful, its not going too bad tbh team still competing for now, this summer the club is gonna enter the market for 1 or 2 big players depending how the season works out, that been the plan a good one at that.

The prices for some of these players are ridiculous still hopefully 250 mil buy a winger and cf, get James back should be solid.
