Nicolas Pepe
Name: Nicolas Pepe
Nationality: Ivory Coast
Team: Lille
Age: 23
Position: RW
Has scored 12 goals (just 1 behind league leader, Mbappe) and has assisted 5 more (just 1 behind league leaders, Di Maria/Depay) in 19 games leading his team to the 2nd place as it stands.
Is he the next big talent to come out of Ligue 1 or a fraud?

I haven't watched a single match from him, but in my book, everyone's a fraud until proven otherwise

Re: Nicolas Pepe
No one is talking about this lad on GL, but he is the real deal. truck ton of speed, technique, 1v1 dribbling, scoring and assisting. He is fantastic, best player in france not named Neymar or Mbappe. He is truly special, and is certain to join a PL club this summer.
His profile as a right winger is unique in european football imo, right wingers with this type of speed and end product dont run the streets. 16 goals 8 assists, would be the perfect Robben replacement.

Re: Nicolas Pepe
Not sure whether the stuff that Lille's coach is saying publicly leaves any doubt that Pepe is joining Bayern
He sees Pepe "playing CL in a club in red colors", "one of the worlds biggest clubs in Germany that will lose both of its inverted wingers in the summer"
A true riddle. Question is whether he's just talking shit or whether it's a done dealio

Re: Nicolas Pepe
He sounds like a clown the way I've written his name in the title but there is a twist...
His last name is actually Pépé which makes all the difference and promotes him to a world class football name.

Wow Arsenal is making great forward signings on paper. Laca, Auba, Pepe. I'm jealous.

I've been mentioning him quite a lot since I decided to watch a couple of games from him. He didn't seem to be very recognized on here. Then again, Ligue 1...

Re: Nicolas Pepe
Very happy that it is Arsenal he is going to, now that he isn't joining Bayern as I honestly assumed.
Good choice, and I look forward to seeing the Arsenal attack in action.

That's a good deal and I am also assuming Ars will get Tierney as well. Really impressive. Perks of having people who know a thing or two about doing deals I reckon.

Re: Nicolas Pepe
Tottenham signed Ndombele, as well. Hopefully, they'll add some excitement to their respective teams in the upcoming season. I'm also interested in Kai Havertz and Julian Brandt, but I'm not gonna watch Bundesliga just for those two

Filthy hey.
But i'd rather us build a basis on a team that is good in midfield, so I think that might be the wrong formation.
