We are doing worse in every single department compared with last season:

23 goals this season compared to last seasons 30 goals. Before anyone mentions Ronaldo, he had 4 goals at this stage
19 goals conceded compared with 11 goals last season. Well look no further than who we have in goal conpared with last season
We lost 3 games last season compared with 5 this season. Yet we are 5 points off Barca compated with 9 last season
In CL we have 2 losses compared with 1 last season yet we have managed to finish top spot compared wifh runnerd up last season

Now anyone can see that a host of players are off form, particularly Modric, Isco, Marcelo, Bale and Varane to name a few. But ultimately even in a season we thought was a disaster wirh ZZ we atill did better comparatively speaking

Not to mentiom Solari is starting to lose the dressing room and the media. Meh, hope we get this season over and done with and start rebuilding next summer

That's provided Solari has gotten his head out of his arse. Solari came in to the role with an agenda. God knows how long it'll take for them to mend their relationship. Reality is as you said Isco is way better than him, in fact all our forwards are better than him but that hasn't stopped him starting at the expense of many of them

Bale has been an utter disappointment for me. I never really thought he was good enough to take over from Ronaldo, but I was expecting way more from him than the garbage fest he has been displaying so far.

I didn't expect much from the other strikers anyway, so them being a disappointment isn't news for me.

Like you said, I hope the club finally wakes up next summer and makes a brutal overhaul.

Vasquez-Benzema-Asensio is a trio that, on FM, you done start shortlisting forwards. Such an uninspiring trio. The rest of the team looks very good but players are just being plebs and playing shit.

His skilset is alright enough to contribute much better still, but he is selfish and doesn't to play a team game, that why he with isco need to stay on the bench, they aren't goal scorers need to get that through their heads.

i can't recall an elite winger who couldn't dribble. That's my problem with him, as a winger, he doesnt do enough to make the difference, 1v1 he is poor. He has an amazing shot, and he can cross but other than that, he struggles.

This is specially worse when you play in a system with 3 forwards, you wingers need to be dominant in 1v1, and that's not the case at the moment.

Sigh, Asensio. Everyone else putting in a proper shift except him. Nice first half but we really should be all clear instead of just a 1-0 that I have really no confidence in us keeping.

If we bring Isco or Vini for Asensio we will play much better.

I agree he is not elite, tbh I don't even know what his strength are really he is just flukey, but if he can keep it simple he can contribute an assist or 2 every other game, he reads the game well enough to occupy good positions he is just selfish and rather turn the ball over than make a simple pass very disgusting for a player who has done sod all.
