Obviously making wishes on GL is pointless but curious to hear your thoughts? I've rated him since I saw him and I know Valk, danyjr rates him highly too! Talent is there...! Mental is not IMO. But in Madrid it might change his mentality abit..

I think he will push for a Madrid move this january because of his age and I quote "Has always dreamed of playing for R. Madrid"

He's been teasing this Madrid move for a while. I just wonder what our season and team would look like in January.

Imagine he's brought in and we are no better than we are now. What kind of expectations are going to be placed on him especially if Benzema keeps being Benzema and Bale keeps staying injured.

We may have gotten a top, top talent for cheap by doing that, but it's not as if Eden's rise to fame has been all glitz and glamour throughout his career at Chelsea. He's their top star, in terms of what he's capable of doing, and every top team should have a player like that, but he's also drifted in and out of the spotlight due to his inconsistency - which is likely why we didn't aggressively pursue him in the past. No one could have predicted how much he'd improve since transferring from Lille to Chelsea, either.

Also, leave it to Perez to sign a goalkeeper and a winger when he's in desperate need for a CF.

We do need a winger though. We are lacking severe width in our game. A dribbler is exactly the type of player our squad doesn't have.

Hazard is not a goal scorer, Chelsea is NOT gonna sell in January and he is not gonna solve our core issue taking place of a systemic flaw in that we cannot create. And, once again, he is not a CF nor a proper goalscorer.

Madrid needs a CF, desperately. Hazard is a summer purchase so if the club is interested, sure I don't mind but if you think he is gonna put in 20, 25, 30 goals a season, you're sadly mistaken about his abilities.

Only issue is cost, Are Chelsea going to part with their best attacker mid season when they are currently tied for first for less than the 200m they quoted in summer? I doubt it. Thus I still doubt he would come.

What happened? Didn't people agree here that Hazard would stand in the way for Asensio's development if the Belgian was bought during last summer?

I think Madrid will eventually get him.

What will be the deciding factor is how much Madrid push for him. I don't see him leaving in Jan unless Madrid push for a move. Next summer will be decisive though.
