You imply that every woman would fall for Ronaldo and they should count themselve lucky for being in his spotlight. YOU find it difficult to believe, probably because YOU have a distorted image how women see men. You are basically saying all women see man as a walking creditcard and status figure, who they would love to hang out with, wich is a false statement, based on your own assumptions and low views on women in general.

What happened before the incident does not count. She could have kissed him, she could have asked him if he wants to go to her place, but it does not constitute for him to force her in to something she doesnt want to do. Everything that has happened in the past, even 5 minutes ago, does not justify you making a assumption about what is going to happen or is allowed. You should always ask for consent. Everytime, with everything you do.

All things considered it shows how you portray women in life. CR7 is a sex symbol and no female would turn him down, therefore the allegations are false. That is very 1950s opinion about women.

Those pictures and videos don't disprove anything the woman said. Here's what was on Der Spiegel before the pictures even surfaced.

Exhausted, she leans back to collect herself. Then she begins to tell the story of that night -- the night that she says destroyed her life. The night that she describes as though a video of it was playing in her mind's eye, even though it was so long ago.

Usually taboo topics are the perfect framework for comedy.

One of the worst things out there is how normalised prison rape has become accepted to joke about to some degree. I don't really find it a laughing matter at all. Especially when some guy going to prison is met with comments like "he'll know what it feels like to be pounded himself in prison".

If everyone is as great as Carlin at balancing it, I wouldn't mind.

Unlike Juve who came out defending Ronaldo not knowing all the facts, Real Madrid stayed out of all off pitch problems and in a statement when Ronaldo got done for tax fraud came out absolving itself from any culpability and it turned out he was guilty

I don’t assume that anyone is guilty. Don’t think him leaving Madrid has anything to do with this case. Was it even an issue when he was still at Madrid? First off CR is an idiot for getting himself into this mess, women throw themselves at him religiously so if one isn't down for that extra stuff just cut em loose, as a famous athlete he should've known how this was gonna turn out once the word "rape" came into play, victims always pop up for whatever reasons imo probably MONEY or exposure or just wanna tear you down, I'm not fan of his like that but it's always sad to see players like kobe or him, get their image tainted for messing with groupies but that how the game goes.

another ignorant post from yours truly. Another one who jumps into a story without reading the facts.

This is a story brought forth by Football Leaks and Der Spiegel first and foremost, it's not her that contacted the press and started telling her story. If anything, she had kept quiet for years without bothering anyone. It's only when Der Spiegel chased her down in Vegas and published her story that she lawyered up, thinking that CR and his people would come after her for breaking the NDA.

This theory that she is doing this for money and attention is completely in opposition to the facts we know about the way this story came about.

She actually is doing this for money since she filed a civil law suit against CR... which is all about getting paid. Not saying she shouldn't do it. But that's the reason you file a civil lawsuit in the US.

And the reason Der Spiegel and Football Leaks picked up the story was the civil lawsuit... they didn't do so before it was filed.
