Re: Real Madrid vs Espanyol
If we are keeping scores, Benzema was very good in the first 3 games and then poor in the following 3.

Re: Real Madrid vs Espanyol
That statement is in error, the control of the games was lost when Lucas entered not when Benz exited. And to be fair, it’s not entirely on Lucas, it was the change of the equilibrium that mattered most.
We are fast aproaching our ideal setup.
It’s a mixture of Benz, Bale, Isco, Asensio, Mariano and hopefully soon (I say by Jan) Vinicius up front.
Middle is Modric, Kroos, Casemiro with Ceballos and Llorente in reserve. We await to see if Fede can contribute.
Defense with Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Carvajal, Odriozola and Marcelo. All capable of starting. We await the emergence of Vallejo and Reguilion.
Goal is still a tossup (despite Hala keeping an evil eye on Courtois). I suspect, eventually it will be be one for la liga and the other with copa/ CL. Bottom line is we aren't hurt with either.
Bottom line is Lopetequi will be using entire squad and he is introducing reserves slowly and correctly, even if he is erroring tactically with some second half changes. Correct that and Ramos’ free roaming and we can expect trophies!

What?
Seriously Benzema fans
A player who was barely involved in the game and a position which barely determines who controls the game is the reason we lost control of the game?.
It happened against Roma too. just saying.

Re: Real Madrid vs Espanyol
We lost "control", from my point of view, when Ceballos came off for Lucas and not when Benzema came off. Benzema was a non entity for the entirety of his time on so I don't know how he could have been the reason we lost "control".

Barca just tied, dropping 2 points. We’re now tied with them!
