Knockaert is budget Mahrez. I remember hyping him when was at Leicester in the Championship and Mahrez was just a bench player.
How times have changed.
United vs Spurs looking very tasty next week.

I'd be so in the mood of watching Palace v Pool right after seeing United lose, Monday night football is a bitch.

Unique wrote:I think we now understand why Liverpool paid 70mil for vvd. Instead of buying 3-4 scrubs for 25-30mil each we just paid big money for a monster like vvd.
I think that was not the way we handled our transfers before two seasons. But things have changed and it is bringing results on the pitch.

I hope we somehow manage to get three points in this game. Quality football or attacking football goes to shit playing against Palace, so another 1-0 like last season will be nice.

I wonder how much of that came from long balls up to Fellaini in the second half.
A bit different to pinging perfect through balls to Mbappe.

Pogba's pass completion was already bad before Fellaini came on.
I have pointed out before that for a central midfielder, Pogba's pass success rate is really poor.

He is an attacking midfielder, i hope the farce is going to stop one day. It would be like Pochetino playing Delle Ali deep in midfield

Did you see the midfielders around him? He lifted his head and had no support. None. Forced to try to dribble or force a pass.
The movement and cohesion on United's part was appalling. it's as if they never practice or play with each other.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part II
And he was perfectly great playing lower with France. Granted, he had WC players around him so he didn't have to make DM type decisions... you just can't put Pogba low, put him under stress, and then ask him to think like a DM. His nature is always going to be to try and beat his man if cornered.
The shit part is that, because he's low and lacks support at Man U, he hesitates and fights his instinct... so it creates mistakes.
And wtf is that attack. Martial doesn't want to be there. Lingard and Rashford run for the sake of running with no purpose. Lukaku looks like he put on 40 pounds in a month lol.

Watch the tape. I watched the game with a scout friend of mine. he would actually stop the game and rewind to show me positioning issues. Not only is the midfield shit... so are the fullbacks and there's no way you can pass it back to those CBs.
But Pogba should have just hoofed it. That was the only play. Not his instinct though.
