I hope Lope manages Bale's minutes. I don't mind any of the attackers getting injured but Bale. We are going to rely on his goals hugely this season. He has started the season fantastically.

Our positional game in possession isnt there yet. the wingers dont leverage the half space enough to abuse the overlap. Not to mention that we are almost allergic to passing down the middle.

I don't like Bale and Asensio hugging the touchline as much as they do considering how attacking our FBs are. But that's probably something they have to shake off from ZZ era. Once they come more central we'll see more attacks through the center

getafe came to play, they used the right system, but that's where talent comes in. there was a moment in the second half where we tried to press them into giving away possession, and the press wasn't that smart, it was around maybe 77th minute thereabout and it just left them pockets of space to move the ball from defense to attack in a few sequence of moves, but they got to the flanks and did absolutely nothing. a better team could have hurt us there. press doesn't mean everyone just rush at ball holders without thinking

obviously i liked the game from bale today and nacho and ramos in defense was very good (yeah i know its only getafe), and though he doesn't get much credit , i liked casemiro when he came on.

Modric looks absolutely lost so far though. When Ceballos came off and his effort was missed Getafe got their first shot of the game and almost scored.

exactly, they need to go inside more, they need to make runs between the CBs and FBs, and we also need to play more down the middle.

Hopefully that is what we are working towards.

That's assuming Benz can score in league play.

How that penalty is not called I will never understand. Especially when there's VAR.

I always said VAR wouldn't help in La Liga because the refs won't admit they don't get every call right all the time.

That's surprising. You're usually very forgiving when he has a poor game, and I think he was alright tonight. He had little to work with, as well.

since when is 0/10 forgiving? i think u need to see my postgame benz ratings history. most of them are 0/10 even if he scored or made an assist. and the reason for that is simple, i always expect the best from him. anything less then it can only be 0/10. would not watch again.

I agree with Benzema and Isco point. Feel Benzema should go. He doesn't give a shit about league matches, same can't be said about Isco.

Thing is we need a CF that makes runs. The chances we did have was due to the CF making the right runs and taking up the proper positions.

If asensio didn't make several absolutely awful decisions with the ball, Benz would have scored. Too many of the young guys want to be scoring heroes... they should look at Bale. he's the designated scorer yet makes the right passes.

And btw, you have the wide players hug the line because that's where they're supposed to be unless the fullbacks overlap. To make those guys come inside, you need fullbacks who bomb down with speed. Marcelo isn't really that kind of player (likes the ball at his feet) and Carvajal is being conservative.

Benz and isco don't do the same thing , if they did Benz wouldn't have to go help with bringing the ball up almost every play, he started the game isolated between both cb could hardly get a touch.
